🌟 Volunteer Spotlight — May 🌟
This month, we are so honored to shine the Volunteer Spotlight on Alice Larson — a faithful and treasured part of our church family for over 20 years.
Alice began attending church in 2004 at Church Central. Very quickly, she and her husband Gary were asked to step into serving as greeters. The very next week, they joined a team of six couples welcoming every person who walked through the doors with warmth, kindness, and the love of Jesus.
Over the years, Alice has faithfully served in so many ways. From greeting, to teaching Sunday School, to attending and supporting our women’s ministries, she has continually poured herself into the life of this church.
When our church transitioned to LifePoint, Alice remained a steady, loving presence — always willing to support, encourage, and serve wherever needed.
Many of you have also been blessed by one of Alice’s special gifts — her baking! Whether it’s cakes, pies, or her famous pumpkin cream cheese log rolls for church auctions, she has generously used her talents to bless this ministry time and time again.
Alice shared that she has always loved this church family, and that love has been evident in the consistency of her service, her sweet spirit, and her dedication through the years. She also expressed the deep love and appreciation she carries for our pastors, Guy and Keleta Parrish.
Alice, thank you for your years of faithfulness, servant’s heart, and unwavering love for God and our church family. You have been a blessing to our church and to everyone you encounter.
We love and appreciate you! ❤️
