“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”
Matthew 5:43–44

In Principle 6, we are not trying to get even. Christ paid the price for all of our wrongs. What does “speaking the truth in love” mean to you?

Join us this Friday for Lesson 18: Grace as Pastor Mitch shares what it means to “speak the truth in love,” extend the grace we have freely received, and let go of the hurts and resentments we were never meant to carry. There is freedom in letting God do what only He can do.

You don’t want to miss it!

CELEBRATE RECOVERY - LESSON 17: FORGIVENESS

This Friday, September 4th, Pastor Jeno will be sharing on one of the most valuable lessons in Celebrate Recovery, Forgiveness.

Forgiveness can be one of the hardest parts of the healing process, but it can also be one of the most freeing.

When we hold onto hurt, it can slowly turn into resentment and keep us tied to things we are trying to heal from. Forgiveness does not excuse what happened or erase the pain, but it can help release the hold that past hurt has on our lives.

Principle 6:
Evaluate all my relationships, offer forgiveness to those who have hurt me, and make amends for harm I’ve done to others, except when doing so would harm them or others.

Maybe there is someone you are struggling to forgive. Maybe you are struggling to forgive yourself. Maybe this is simply a lesson you need to hear right now.

Wherever you are in that process, you are welcome here.

Come get connected. You do not have to walk this journey alone.

🇺🇸 WELCOME HOME | SPECIAL MESSAGE 🇺🇸

The Ripple Effect of Service and the God Who Sees

This Friday, August 28th, Pastor Mitch will be sharing a special Welcome Home message. Through personal experience, he understands many of the challenges our veterans face and how the effects of service can ripple into everyday life.

But the heart of this message reaches all of us.

We all carry experiences that have shaped us. Sometimes the effects of yesterday find their way into today, and sometimes we’re fighting battles the people around us can’t see.

But God sees.

He sees the struggle, the sacrifice, the hurt, and the things we carry quietly. He sees us in the places where we may feel unseen, and He meets us there.

“So she called the name of the Lord who spoke to her, ‘You are a God of seeing,’ for she said, ‘Truly here I have seen him who looks after me.’”
Genesis 16:13

Whether you’re a veteran, walking through recovery, supporting someone you love, or simply looking for hope, there’s a place for you here.

Come join us for dinner, worship, fellowship, and a special message. And bring the family! We have a place for your children and teens too.

We have an incredible testimony of hope, faith, and restoration this Friday, August 21st.

As a wife and mother, Julie has walked through challenges she never imagined. There are seasons when the storm feels overwhelming, fear takes hold, and we don’t know how we’ll make it through.

But God meets us in the middle of the storm. ❤️

Come hear Julie share her powerful story of transformation and how Jesus met her in some of life’s hardest moments. Hear how Jesus has brought healing, freedom, and restoration to her life and family through Celebrate Recovery.

There is hope. There is healing. There is freedom in Jesus.

“…just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.” (Romans 6:4) 🤍

Maybe there are parts of your story that still feel broken. Maybe there are things you’ve carried for so long that you’ve started to believe they’ll always be a part of your life.

But Jesus is still in the business of bringing new life to broken places. ❤️

Your past doesn’t have to define your future. What was broken doesn’t have to stay broken.

There is hope. There is healing. And there is a new way of living found in Christ.

Recovery really is a resurrection story. ❤️

Are you being held captive by resentment, anger, guilt, or the hurts of your past?

Did you know there is freedom from the hurt and pain you’ve been carrying?

This Friday at Celebrate Recovery at Orchard Church, Pastor Jeno will be teaching Lesson 16: AMENDS - an important step in the healing journey that helps us let go of the past and move forward in the freedom and peace we find through Christ. 🙌

Principle 6:
Evaluate all my relationships. Offer forgiveness to those who have hurt me and make amends for harm I’ve done to others, except when to do so would harm them or others.

A — Admit the hurt and the harm
M — Make a list
E — Encourage one another
N — Not for them
D — Do it at the right time
S — Start living the promises of recovery

Making amends isn’t about pretending the hurt never happened or putting yourself back into an unsafe situation. It’s about allowing God to free us from the weight we’ve been carrying and taking responsibility for our part as we continue moving forward in recovery.
