Thank You for a Wonderful Bingo Family Night!

What a beautiful and successful evening! Our Annual Fundraiser, Bingo Family Night, brought together about 200 people last Saturday for a fun night with family and friends — all in support of the Community Food Pantry of Murrieta.

With 1 door prize, 14 bingo game prizes, 16 silent auction packages, and 41 raffle baskets, there were so many exciting ways to win and so many reasons to celebrate the generosity of our community.

We are especially grateful to our sponsors, GOSCH Ford of Temecula, PapaFeta, and All-Star Storage, for helping make this event possible. A heartfelt thank-you also goes to Chick-fil-A for providing the chicken sandwiches and Starbucks for the coffee that helped keep everyone going.

Thank you to Janice Remland, our wonderful emcee, for bringing joy, energy, and laughter to the night. Thank you to our volunteers who ran the kitchen and drink station, helped where needed, and kept everything moving smoothly.

We are also so grateful to our Mothers & Others Board for working together to plan and run this event. Special thanks to Angela Boggeln for collecting, organizing, and putting together the raffle baskets, auction packages, and bingo prize packs; Megan Jenkins, our AV tech, for running the bingo program on the projector screens; Kerrie Hopp for preparing RSVP packets; and Lisa Marie Gonzales for reaching out to businesses and securing the majority of our generous donors.

We were also blessed by a visit from Fr. Jack, who took time to greet our parish guests and show his support. Though he needed to rest and couldn’t stay, we are so thankful he came — and we hope he can join us longer next year!

Most of all, we thank the Lord. Through the stress, uncertainty, and many moving pieces, He provided everything we needed. Thank you to everyone who attended, sponsored, donated, volunteered, helped, and prayed. Because of you, Bingo Family Night was a success!

As many of you know, Luke from our maintenance team is always so generous with his time and care whenever we gather at the Family Life Center . Whether it’s setting up tables, helping behind the scenes, or going above and beyond to support our ministry, Luke is always there with a servant’s heart.

Now, Luke and his wife Elena are preparing to welcome their very first baby, and we would love to bless them as a parish community during this exciting new chapter of their lives.

We invite everyone attending our End-of-Year Luncheon this Tuesday (May 12th, 9:30-11:30AM, Family Life Center) to bring a baby gift for Elena & Luke. Gifts may be purchased through their baby registry, or you are welcome to choose something on your own as well. Monetary gifts are also appreciated if preferred.

Let’s come together to help support these first-time parents and show them how loved they are by our community. 💚
