Sunday: We woke up and attended church at Wesley Chapel. We got to meet pastor Chris Beach. He has been the pastor here for the past 18 years! He shared with us his testimony and explanation on how the dream camp came to be! After the church service, they fed us homemade pizza made by the kids at the Dream camp. Once we finished lunch, we drove over to meet Pastor Levi from Shoulder to Shoulder ministries for a grill walk. It was such a blessing, we were able to go door to door giving our free hamburgers and praying for people. It was truly an incredible experience for something so simple. We finished up the day with dinner, devotional, and fellowship!
Monday: An early morning wake up time to get to Wesley Chapel for our first day of Dream Camp. We were able to greet kids as they arrived and danced in the sanctuary before we started the day. Half of the kids stayed at the church for the day and the other half joined us the Ranch! The ranch was such a fun day! We spent the day going through the B.A.G.S. system. Kids spent the day biking, feeding and playing with animals, helping out in the garden, and helping mend a fence for our service project! They loved playing in the dirt, looking for bugs and feeding the animals! We drove back to the church for lunch and then headed out for the field trip for the day! We got to explore Tulsa Tech’s aviation program and see all kinds of air planes! We finished up the day with much needed showers at the Y, dinner and devotional!
