Our first week of Kids Camp is off to a great start!

This year, our theme is "Fishers of Men," and yesterday we talked about how Jesus gives us purpose. We learned all about Peter and Andrew—how they were just two regular people, but God used them to tell so many others about Jesus.

To keep the conversation going at home, try asking your kids one of these questions:

• What did you learn about at camp yesterday?
• Did you learn anything that you didn’t know before?
• Who are Peter and Andrew?

"From this man’s descendants, as he promised, God brought to Israel the Savior, Jesus" (Acts 13:23–25).

Lord, when we read of Your promises, we see Your faithfulness. You led Your people out of Egypt, stayed present with them in the wilderness, and brought them to the Promised Land. You sent them judges, prophets, kings, and finally, a Savior. When we look at our lives, help us to see Your faithfulness and provision. Help us to trust You more each day. We love You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Join us for service! At The Experience, we go line-by-line, verse-by-verse through Scripture to learn more about God and His Word. This week, we’ll be in the first half of Chapter 13.

If you have kids or students, they are welcome to try out ECCO (birth–5th grade) or EON (6th–8th grade). We also have a special needs ministry called Emerge. Our hope is that everyone who walks through our doors will experience the love of Christ and understand the gospel on their level.

It’s the highlight of the summer. Student Camp is coming up July 19th–24th!

Open to all incoming 6th–12th graders, this six-day camp is an exciting opportunity for students to get out of town and get closer to the Lord. Throughout the week, we will focus on our faith, build authentic friendships, and make plenty of memories. We’ll see you there!

Spots are limited, so sign up as soon as you can! The deadline to register is July 6th.

Congratulations to our M.I.T. grads!!

Our class of seven Ministers-in-Training graduated last night! Since January, they have been busy studying theology, learning the ins and outs of ECC, and preparing for their new roles.

Lena, Danielle, Kathryn-Ann, and Chelsea will be working with our children’s ministry, ECCO Kids. Tamra is part of our pastoral ministry team, and Sydney is working with Emerge, our special needs ministry. Last but not least, Daniel will be heading up our Spanish ministry.

We’re so glad to have all of our M.I.T. grads on the team! If you see any of them this weekend, say hello and congratulate them!

"So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was praying fervently to God for him" (Acts 12:5).

Lord, we need You to work in our world. Be with our leaders, bosses, coworkers, and neighbors. Help our friends, family members, and loved ones. Heal the sick, feed the hungry, clothe the needy. Give us what we need each day, and help us to see You at work. In Jesus' name, amen.

Level Up is 𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞! Here’s what you need to know:

This weekend, May 30th–31st, elementary and middle school students will move up to their new grade levels or ministries. Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early that weekend so you have plenty of time to find your student’s new classroom/space and sign them in.

This Wednesday, May 27th, middle and high school students will also level up to their new grade levels and/or ministries. And to celebrate this exciting time of transition, Encounter is hosting their Level Up Celebration on Friday, May 29th from 6:00–8:30 pm.

We want this time of transition to go smoothly, so we appreciate your cooperation!
