🏠❤️ WELCOME HOME! ❤️🏠

We had such a fun morning in Children’s Church learning about The Prodigal Son from Luke 15!

We even had a special visitor—Prodigal Pete! 🐺😂 And let’s just say… Pete had gotten a little off track!

Through Pete, the kids learned what it means to be spiritually lost and talked about some of the things that can begin pulling our hearts away from God. We learned that just like someone can be physically lost, we can also wander away from God when we choose our own way instead of His.

Then we learned about the Prodigal Son—a son who left his father and went his own way. When he finally realized how far he had wandered, he decided to go HOME.

And this was the part we really wanted our kids to remember:

❤️ His father was watching for him.
❤️ His father had compassion on him.
❤️ His father RAN to meet him.
❤️ And his father welcomed him HOME!

What a beautiful picture of the heart of our Heavenly Father. God loves the lost, and He rejoices when they turn back to Him!

To finish our lesson, the kids made their own WELCOME HOME signs to take with them as a reminder of the Father's love. 🏠🎨❤️

We pray that as these little ones grow, they always remember that there is nothing this world has to offer that compares to being close to their Heavenly Father and they can always come home ❤️

What a BLAST we had at our COR Youth Back to School Bash! 💦🎉
From splashes and laughter to bounce houses, games, and unforgettable memories, the greatest thing we experienced was JOY!
"The joy of the LORD is your strength." — Nehemiah 8:10
Our prayer is that every child left knowing they are loved, encouraged, and that true joy is found in Jesus. May His joy continue to be our strength and our portion every day.
Thank you to everyone who came, served, prayed, donated, and made this day so special. We already can't wait to do it all again...
