For those who may not know, on Thursday evenings, Pastor Dave has been teaching an ongoing class about Systematic Theology - a comprehensive study of the Bible by theme and topic.

We've recently entered a new unit of study: Old Testament Messianic Prophecy. Have you ever wondered where in the Old Testament the Bible predicts, foreshadows, and pictures the coming of Christ? If so, this topic will be greatly edifying for you and help you see the Bible as one unfolding story of God's promise of the Messiah.

There is plenty of room, and anyone is welcome to join the class at any time. Please consider joining us this evening at 6 pm in the MCC Fellowship Hall.

Saints, this Saturday, 3/28, Pastor Dave will be teaching a new church member class from 9 am -10:30 am in the fellowship hall. All are welcome to attend.

This class is one of the requirements for membership at MCC. We consider church membership to be an important part of discipleship in the body of Christ. If you are considering becoming a member, even if you have not yet submitted an application, you are encouraged to come. Your attendance will be counted as fulfilling this requirement whenever you move forward with the application process.

Saints of MCC,

I pray you are all warm and safe during this winter storm. I wanted to provide an update regarding church services. After consulting together and reviewing the latest weather reports, the Elders and I have decided, in the interest of the congregation’s safety, to cancel tomorrow’s church service.

Even though we are not meeting in person, it is still the Lord's Day. Tomorrow morning, I will send out an Flocknote with links to spiritually edifying material that can be listened to online. If you have any prayer concerns, please feel free to email them to me at [email protected]

As many of you are aware, the weather forecast for this weekend is shaping up to be potentially hazardous, with significant snowfall and dangerously low temperatures expected. Please take the necessary precautions to stay warm and safe.

Because forecasts can change, the Elders will make a decision by midday Saturday regarding whether Sunday services will be held. That decision will be communicated here on Facebook, as well as by email and text through Flocknote.

If you do not currently receive Flocknote emails or texts and would like to be notified in the event that services are canceled, please message the church page or text Pastor Dave at 316-640-1168 with your phone number and email address, and we will be glad to add you to our communication list.
