10 WEEKS OF SUMMER UPDATE! With my house A/C not working and everything, we’re going to switch gears tomorrow and go to Let’s Roll Derby (Derby Bowl) from 6:30–8:00 pm. We will meet there, or you can arrange your own carpooling. :) Cost is $5 for 1½ hours of bowling (shoes included). Concessions will be open if your student wants to buy something!

Pastor Todd's moving units will be arriving late this morning. We are going to meet at his house at 1pm to help unload. ANYONE who can help it will be greatly appreciated.

A LIVING SACRIFICE
ROMANS 12: 1-2

Our last day working with Tower View Baptist Church was today. We had a LARGE ambitious list of things to get done today. We got almost everything gone. We painted the church basement, removed old cabinets, installed new lighting in Sunday school rooms, installed and ran electrical for church sign, painted Sunday school rooms, built some things in their welcome center and cleaned up and organized some rooms, repainted offering boxes. It was a busy day but the pastor was BLOWN away with how much we accomplished this week. He often said how impressed he was and how much of a blessing these students have been. Parents you should be proud. These students have been incredible. Oh and it was Asa’s 13th Birthday!!!

Day 2 has come to a close. Today we spent our entire day serving Tower View Baptist Church. We started our day going door to door inviting people to church and asking to pray with people. We wrote down the prayer requests so the church can follow up in the weeks to come. After lunch we painted the entry way, installed lights, busted up concrete, stripped paint off brick, jack hammered concrete and dug holes, prepped kids ministry items, painted exterior and redid the sanctuary stage then ended our evening worshiping with the church and praying over with their congregation. Both Eli and Claire shared their testimonies. What a good day!

Day 1 of mission trip in the books. We started our day at union rescue missions donation warehouse helping sort and pack clothing boxes for children in need.
This afternoon we met our host church and started getting to work on projects around the church. Specifically getting their building ready for their new children’s ministry things starting this fall.
We are getting ready to head to my in-laws for dinner and games! Keep praying for the Lord to use us to bless Tower View Baptist Church and the wonderful ministry they have in north KC!
