👧🧒 Children's Moment Returns for the Summer! 🧒👧

During the summer months, our Children's Ministry takes a break, but our children are still an important part of Sunday mornings at Lyons-Muir Church!

Each week, just before the sermon, children are invited to come forward for our Children's Moment—a special time designed just for them. Through stories, object lessons, questions, laughter, and faith-filled conversations, we'll explore God's love in ways that connect with children of all ages.

It's a chance for our youngest worshipers to learn, participate, and be reminded that they are a valued part of our church family.

After Children's Moment, children are welcome to remain in worship with their families. To help them stay engaged, activity bags are available each week with coloring pages, legos, and other quiet activities. These bags provide a way for children to stay busy while still being part of the worship experience and hearing God's Word alongside the rest of the congregation.

We can't wait to see what God teaches us together this summer!

⚓ New Summer Series Begins This Sunday! — Anchored ⚓

Life has a way of shifting beneath our feet, but God provides an anchor that never fails. Throughout June, we'll discover how being anchored in Christ gives us lasting love, unshakable hope, true identity, and deep trust. Wherever you are on your faith journey, we'd love for you to join us as we grow stronger together in God's promises.

🙏 A Prayer for This Evening 🙏

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your faithfulness and love. We come before You tonight with grateful hearts, trusting that You hear every prayer offered in faith.

We pray for those who are struggling, those who are grieving, those who are sick, and those who feel alone. Surround them with Your comfort, strength, and peace.

Bless our church family, our community, and all who seek You. Guide our steps, deepen our faith, and help us to be a reflection of Your love to those around us.

Keep us mindful of Your presence throughout this week, and draw us ever closer to You.

In Jesus' name we pray,
Amen.

🙏 Evening Prayer Reminder 🙏

Although Prayer Warriors will not be meeting tonight, we invite you to pause for a few moments around 6:00 PM and spend time in prayer.

Pray for those who are hurting, those who are lonely, those facing uncertainty, and those who need God's strength today. Pray for our church family, our community, and for God's will to be done in all things.

Even when we cannot gather together, we remain united in prayer.

We look forward to gathering again next Wednesday at 6:00 PM.
