We're continuing our October Bible story today!

We've already heard the story of Ruth, and now we're going to explore that same story through Science.

As we discover, investigate, and experiment, we'll keep coming back to Ruth and the ways God's care, provision, and faithfulness are woven throughout her story.

Join us at 11:00 AM at Lyons-Muir Church as we welcome our guest speaker.

Today’s message is **“Choices,”** based on Matthew 18:1–7.

Jesus reminds us that greatness in the Kingdom of Heaven looks different from what the world expects. He calls us to become like children, to help others grow, and to take seriously the influence our choices can have on those around us.

Come worship with us and consider the choices we make, the example we set, and the role we have in helping others follow Christ.

We look forward to worshiping with you this morning.

We're continuing our journey through RUTH this Sunday!

Ruth is our Bible story for the entire month of October, and this Sunday we're taking the story into the world of Science!

We'll explore, discover, and experiment while connecting everything back to the story we've been learning together.

This Sunday at Lyons-Muir Church, our guest speaker will bring us a message titled **“Choices.”**

In Matthew 18:1–7, Jesus turns our attention to something we might not expect when talking about greatness: becoming like children.

He teaches us about humility, about helping others grow in faith, and about the serious responsibility we have toward those around us.

Our choices do more than affect us. They can encourage someone, help someone grow, or cause someone to stumble.

What choices are we making? And what do those choices look like when we consider the people God has placed around us?

Join us Sunday at 11:00 AM as our guest speaker shares this message with us.

This Sunday, October 11, we are pleased to welcome a guest speaker to Lyons-Muir Church.

Our guest speaker will be sharing a message titled **“Choices,”** based on Matthew 18:1–7.

Jesus teaches that to be great in the Kingdom of Heaven, we must become like children. He also speaks about the importance of helping others grow in faith and warns us about the consequences of causing others to stumble.

What is our role in this? What does it look like in our everyday lives?

🙏 **Prayer Warriors — Week 72**

This week, we pause to **notice the progress**.

Sometimes the answer to prayer is a complete healing. Sometimes it is a successful surgery, a good report, a treatment finally beginning, or simply seeing a little more strength than we saw yesterday.

And sometimes, the journey is still ahead of us.

Tonight's Prayer Warriors prayer gives thanks for the ways God is already moving while continuing to lift up those who are still waiting, recovering, facing difficult decisions, and carrying burdens that may never be spoken aloud.

As you pray with us, remember that **progress doesn't have to mean the journey is finished.** We can be grateful for each step forward while continuing to trust God with every step still to come.

📖 *“I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”* — Psalm 121:1–2

Take a few moments tonight to pause, pray, and place whatever you are carrying into God's hands.
