SLAM Youth is now Harvestime Youth!

While the name is changing, everything that matters most stays the same.

Our mission remains:
“To see God glorified by aligning ourselves with His vision, equipping students to further His Kingdom.”

Our leaders, our vision, and our commitment to students are not changing—we’re simply stepping into a new name that aligns with the greater Harvestime Church family and the season God is leading us into.

We’re excited for what’s ahead and grateful for everyone who is part of this journey with us.

What a fantastic weekend in Louisville, KY at Youth Convention! We took 32 students and God was really moving during service. I am so thankful for all God is doing through the Youth Ministry at Harvestime! Thank you Harvestime Family for the prayers and monetary support to ensure every student was able to go. Thank you to all my adult leaders who unselfishly volunteer week in and week out, and got no sleep this weekend 😂. And last but not least, thank you to Kentucky Youth Ministries, Reggie Dabbs, and the worship team for pouring into our students this weekend. Convention may remind me that I am getting older and don't bounce back from all nighters quite like I use to, but I wouldn't change it for the world!

Great job Kalem!

Today Dr. Strieter announced Kalem Harris has been named a Commended Student in the 2026 National Merit Scholarship Program.
Those being named Commended Students have demonstrated outstanding potential for academic success. These students represent a valuable national resource; recognizing their accomplishments, as well as the key role their schools play in their academic development, is vital to the advancement of educational excellence in our nation.
We are proud to have Kalem represent Mt. Vernon High School!
