Happy Easter! It was a great end to VBS. Today we started our day with Mass. The rest of our day was spent learning about Easter, reviewing what we learned for the week, and enjoying Kona Ice and popcorn. Thanks to everyone who donated to our fundraiser. We are blown away by your generosity! With your support we were able to raise enough money for 5 young men to be trained as Masters of Ceremonies for our diocese. See you all next summer!

Day 4 part 2 enjoy the preciousness. Also we are still collecting money for the Master of Ceremonies Training Camp. Don’t forget to bring in your donations! Tomorrow morning we will begin our day with Mass at 8:45. All are welcome to join us!

Day 4 part 1 It was mini Mass day which means there are a lot of pictures! In our stations we learned about Lent. In crafts we made flower pots to symbolize how our faith grows during Lent. In fun & games we learned how sometimes we can be pulled in different directions and played tug of war to symbolize that. We also had a visit from St. Mary Magdalene.

Day 3 was all about ordinary time. We had a visit from St. Peter. In the faith station we learned about St. Dominic and spent time praying with our new rosary. Our rosaries even have all the colors of the liturgical seasons we have been learning about! In the craft station we made liturgical season wheels. In fun & games we played red light green light and we talked about how the green color of ordinary time tells us to go out into the world and share our faith. We can’t wait for all the fun we are going to have tomorrow.

Merry Christmas! Today we learned all about Christmas. We read the Christmas story in the faith station and talked all about it. In fun & games we played freeze tag and to get unfrozen we had to act like someone or something from the nativity. In crafts we made ornaments and Christmas cards. We even learned some Christmas songs that the children really enjoyed singing. We also had a visit from the Holy Family! It was a great day!

What a great first day! We learned so much! We learned all about our virtue of the day, hope, and our liturgical season Advent. We made Advent wreaths, learned some songs, and learned all about Saint Nicholas, our saint today. In faith station we learned about Our Lady of Guadalupe and Saint Juan Diego and received our scapulars. The sisters leading our faith station had so many amazing stories about scapulars. Ask your kids if they can tell you one!

VBS isn't just for the kids! Come have fun with us as a volunteer. We are still in need of adults and older youth.
