Happy Friday Preparation Day! Remember this is our Sabbath off and we will be meting again next week. I have hopes my arm will be much better by then. It's a little cold out this am, but shaping up to be alovely day. Have a good Sabbath and if you are interested, Dan is starting a study by zoom Sunday evenings at 6: just let me know by pm and he'll send you the invite.

Happy Off Sabbath to all. I am hoping this day off will give me a chance to heal, get a diagnosis and rest. Dan's off playing organ for Fredericktown, and I am icing my shoulder. It's raining here, and we are almost cuaght up from the drought of last year. All of you spend quiet time with Him today, remember he is always near and He will be coming soon. Blessings and peace.

It has been a busy 52nd anniversary. We got up early to be certain the house was ready for church tomorrow, then Dan and I went to a little greenhouse way out in the boonies and got some lovely plants, brought them home to find that while we were gone, Violet got my sewing scissors and trimed down three hostas. Her mom has the scissors and Violet will be helping me garden this weekend. Dan and I went to Mansfield to grocery shop and eat at Olive garden, then he went to Menard's and I to Carters for baby overalls. Peni is at the crawling like mad stage and wears out her sleeper knees; overalls ought to fix that. On the way home, we went to the Alta greenhouse for perenials. I came home to find Violet had used up a half box of flower bandaids on the kitten. She decided it was time they had bandaids because their mom carries them around by the neck. We unpacked the groceries, visited with family and are now getting ready for bed. I found out Violet had climbed up and gotten down two Lindt chocolate balls. It was a most busy day. and no, Violet is not a bad child. She is simply a ball of energy. And for thos who have asked about our Irish retriever puppy, she is 7 months old now. Have a great sabbath, weekend and take good care of you.

From a policeman buddy: A man was speeding, really going fast. When stopped, he insisted he could not have been going over 85, although I had clocked him at 105.
“My speedometer only goes to 85, and I had it all the way to the floor,” he explained.

Please keep little Violet in prayer. Her Aunt and Uncle took her to Kalihara resort/waterpark for some fun; she had fun, but then started vomiting quite alot; sScott brought her home and she has thrown up some more; she can't keep anything on her stomach, not even water, and is tired/listless and has tummy ache. I don't know if it was too much choline in the wave pool, or if she has caught a norovirus. F&S were in the water and have no symptoms, but they are used to swimming in public pools at hotels and such. Violet is not. Any suggestions on how to get her over this would be appreciated. Thank you for your prayers.

Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson went on a camping trip. After a good meal and a bottle of wine they lay down for the night, and went to sleep.

"What does that tell you?"
Watson pondered for a minute.

Horologically, I deduce that the time is approximately a quarter past three.
Theologically, I can see that God is all powerful and that we are small and insignificant.

Holmes was silent for a minute, then spoke. "Watson, you jerk. Someone has stolen our tent."

I feel for Watson. He neve quite knew what was expected of him. And first pics of the baby chicks and their momma.

Happy sabbath; will see some on zoom, some here at home, but all in thoughts and prayers.
Did you realize there is a holiday set up in 1991 no one seems to think about?

National pray no day: Just Pray No is an annual event observed on the third weekend of April and this year it will be marked from April 18 to 19. Just Pray NO! brings Christians all over the world together in intercessory prayer to support those who are battling with forms of addiction like alcoholism, drug addiction, and other life-controlling compulsions. Addiction has become a worldwide epidemic, with millions of people battling their addictions daily. The soaring incidence of overdose deaths makes the drug epidemic among the most dangerous public health concerns of our time.
