Yesterday, we finished our Summer volume as we learned that Jesus taught people to seek God’s kingdom because knowing God is the greatest treasure. When people trust in Jesus, they are welcomed into God’s kingdom and can trust that God will provide for all their needs.

We finished learning about Luke 7 yesterday, as we learned Everyone has sinned and owes a debt they could never repay. Jesus, the only sinless one, died in our place to pay the debt for our sin. When we trust in Jesus, we are forgiven of all our sins and are credited with Jesus’ perfect life!

Yesterday was a great day together as we celebrated America, and studied Matthew 9, Mark 2, and Luke 5.

We learned that by forgiving the man’s sins, Jesus revealed that He is God. Jesus has power to heal and forgive. Only through faith in Jesus can people be saved from their sins.
