One of the greatest motivators to keep us pressing on is hope. As Christians we have hope in Christ’ return, we have hope in His resurrection from the dead, we have hope in the life that is to come.

In a world that is dark, divided, and unfriendly at times, we draw closer than ever to our hope.

When trials come, when darkness is heavy, when we cannot see the way, then it is during these seasons that we must hope in The Lord.

Listen to these words from the psalmist …

Psalm 31:24 — “Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD.”

Psalm 71:5 — “For thou art my hope, O Lord GOD: thou art my trust from my youth.”

It is our hope in heaven, our hope in The Lord, and our earnest expectation of a better land and a better life that pushes us forward as we live as pilgrims here. As a child of God, be sure that your HOPE is in The Lord, and when your HOPE is firmly fixed on Him, you will never be disappointed.

Lamentations 3:24–26 — “The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.”
