After several years of wanting a Church Choir, we surprised our Pastor, not just with a Choir, but singing a song that was very dear to him when he accepted the Call to Pastoral Ministry: "When the Savior Reached Down for Me!"!

As promised, here are a few videos from yesterday's Homecoming. We really enjoyed The Browns. When the children came up to sing, four generations were represented: Mom & Dad, sons, grandchildren, and great grandchildren! What a legacy!

We had an awesome Homecoming service and lunch fellowship today, celebrating 124 years as a church! The Browns of Wallace NC ministered in music, and former members Faye Outlaw Barlett and Gene Outlaw shared memories if growing up at Alum Springs! Our pastor was honored by the church for Pastor Appreciation, and then was surprised by our newly formed choir! Enjoy a few pictures made from today. A couple of videos will be posted later. It's been a wonderful day! God is good and He is faithful!

We were blessed to have retired pastor Rev. Jeff Bartlett share the Good News in song and word this past Sunday! Sermon title was "A Song for All Seasons," comparing the Biblical truths in the lyrics of "It Is Well With My Soul" to Isaiah 26:3-4. Thank you for coming ans sharing with us, Rev. Bartlett!
