To Whom it May Concern,
I wanted to offer a formal appreciation for all those who have taken a moment or moments out of their day and prayed on my behalf, due to my heart condition (really and truly, heart failure). I spent 5 days in the hospital going through several processes to get me back to a fighting chance. We still have work to do in the form of a stent, as well as a visit to a vascular surgeon to address some blockages in my carotid arteries. And of course, the Great Physician has work yet to do. That is where you come/came in…the myriads of people who have prayed for me during this time is overwhelming and humbling. People literally from around the world and especially our country have expressed their prayers on my behalf. I have received notes from people as far away as California from people whom I do not even know who have shared they are praying for me. Former classmates, friends, relatives, and some people who probably don’t even like me (😊) have prayed and are praying. For all this, I wanted to express my gratitude for you taking the time. May God’s overwhelming blessing be upon you…as the Bible says about Job, “After Job had prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his prosperity and doubled his former possessions.” Blessings to you!
