Welcome to 2026!
With the New Year comes a new chance of change! This type of change can be the parts of our lives that has kept us from finding relief or the peace that we desire in our lives. Most people will say "I don't need recovery" or "I'm not one of those people". These are common perceptions of what recovery entails. Recovery is one entity overcoming the power of another. That could be Anger, Substance Abuse, Intimacy Issues, Abandonment, Shame, Spiritual issuse, Addiction, Insecurities, Stress, Worthlessness, Low self esteem, Guilt, Po*******hy, Alcoholism, Fear, Perfectionism, Sexual Addiction, Anxiety, Dishonesty, Substance Abuse, Codependency, Eating Disorder, Pride ect. all can keep us from getting closer to God. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) gives this definition of recovery, " a process of change through which individuals improve their health and wellness, live self-directed lives, and strive to reach their full potential."With that definition, who cannot benefit from the recovery process.
