Real Life on the Palouse

Real Life on the Palouse Where Jesus and real life meet. At Real Life, we are not about a Sunday morning show. This helps us walk closer with God and each other.

In fact, the Sunday morning gathering is the same for us as anybody else—just a picture of who we are and what we do every day. Doing life together as Christians, day in and day out, is the point of our ministry.

The world will never be argued into the Kingdom, but it might be loved into it. Real community means someone is watching your back when you’re too tired to hold the line yourself.

That’s why we do life together in small groups. Find a group today → https://vist.ly/56gzf

The goal of the early church wasn’t just to survive together, it was to watch over each other like a family.

That felt so real this weekend as we prayed over Randy McLachlan for his upcoming trip to Africa and celebrated how God is moving through our missions. Being the church isn’t a theory we talk about on Sundays, it is the actual way we show up for one another throughout the week.

The message of Jesus didn’t reach you by accident. It was carried through two thousand years of history by people who refused to let the story end with them.

Now, it’s your turn to be the plan.

Standing firm isn’t about being the strongest person in the room. It is about deciding where you are going to anchor your trust when the scenery starts changing.

Which one of these steps feels most like the breath of fresh air you need today? Save this for the next time things feel a little shaky.

It is so easy to let your heart get hard when the world feels like it’s falling apart.

When we face constant negativity or people treating us poorly, our natural instinct is to shut down and stop being kind. But as followers of Jesus, we’re called to a different way of living.

We have to fight to keep our love from growing cold, even when things get difficult.

What’s one simple way you can show kindness to someone who might not "deserve" it today?

Living for yourself is the quickest way to distance the people you love. When we put God first, the way we treat everyone else starts to change for the better. It’s not just a spiritual theory, it’s how your Monday morning gets better.

No one can control the storm, but you don't have to face it alone. This weekend was a heavy, honest, and beautiful reminder that even when things feel like they are coming down, we are the plan Jesus left behind to carry his story forward.

Whether you are taping up the windows or just trying to catch your breath, there is a seat for you here. Tag someone who reminds you that you aren't walking through the storm alone.

There’s no better feeling than knowing your kids are in a place where they aren’t just being watched, but are being invested in.

We’re leaning into what it means to be children of God who are loved and cared for, starting with the youngest members of our church family. Come see what God is doing in the next generation on the Palouse.

Sometimes we ignore the things we know we need to deal with because it just feels easier to keep our heads in the sand. We don’t mean to rebel. We just prefer to deal with it "later."

But the real question isn't whether we understand what Jesus is saying. It’s whether we are willing to follow Him. Even in the tiny things that nobody else sees.

Is there a "little thing" God has been nudging you about lately? You don't have to navigate it alone. We're in this together.
