Isaiah receives a breathtaking vision of God's holiness. Confronted by his own sin, he experiences God's cleansing and willingly answers God's call to serve.

"In that day the Branch of the LORD will be beautiful and glorious." (Isaiah 4:2)
📝 Summary:
Isaiah warns that Judah's pride and injustice will bring judgment. Even so, God promises that a faithful remnant will remain, and He points ahead to the coming "Branch," a picture of the Messiah who will bring cleansing and restoration.

How does God's promise of restoration give you hope when you see the effects of sin in our world?

"Come, let us settle this," says the LORD. "Though your sins are scarlet, they will be as white as snow." (Isaiah 1:18)
📝 Summary:
God confronts Judah's rebellion and empty religious rituals, calling His people to genuine repentance. Yet alongside His warning comes a gracious invitation to forgiveness and the promise of a future kingdom where the nations will worship the Lord.

What does true repentance look like beyond simply feeling sorry for our sins?

📖 Weekly Reading: Isaiah 1–7
This week we begin the book of Isaiah, one of the Bible's greatest prophetic books. Isaiah ministered during a time of spiritual decline in Judah, calling God's people to repentance while proclaiming both coming judgment and future hope. These opening chapters reveal God's holiness, expose the seriousness of sin, and introduce the promise of a coming King who will reign forever.
As you read this week, notice that God's warnings are always accompanied by His invitation to repent and His promise of redemption.

📖 Reflection on Song of Songs
✨ Key Verse:
"We love because he first loved us." (1 John 4:19)
📝 Summary:
Song of Songs reminds us that love is one of God's good gifts. Whether married or single, every believer can learn from its picture of faithfulness, commitment, purity, and self-giving love. Ultimately, all human love points us to the perfect love of Christ, who gave Himself for His bride, the Church.

How can you better reflect Christ's faithful, sacrificial love in your relationships this week?
