Bobbie Grice, MUMC Pastor/Parish chairperson, is pleased to introduce Dr. Scott Russ as our new pastor. We will be sharing Pastor Scott with Epiphany Methodist Church in Loveland. Scott has been there for 21 years as a Youth Minister and now as an Associate Pastor.

He married his high school sweetheart, Shelly and they have four grown children, Zachary, Mallory, Katie and Benjamin, and have one grandchild Alora. Shelly is an elementary teacher in the Norwood District.

Pastor Scott has just completed his Doctorate of Ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary with an emphasis on Youth, Family and Culture.

Pastor Scott has found a home in the United Methodist Church, knowing that it encourages thinking through our traditions, experiences, reason and scripture. He feels the same principles that he uses in Youth Ministry apply to the whole church. Everyone needs help to get actively engaged in their own community and be the best representative of Christ to all people.

Pastor Scott’s first Sunday will be August 2nd. We look forward to welcoming him as our new minister.
