Service at 9:15 AM Sundays

We are continuing our study in Acts today, June 21st, by looking at Acts 27:21-44. We left off in the middle of the storm last time. Today, we follow the story through to the ship wreck. In this, we see Paul's character. A character not based on Paul's self confidence but confidence in God.

Blessings,
John

Today, June 7th, we are taking a look at the beginning of Paul's journey to Rome. To do that, we are looking at Acts 27:1-20. The journey begins but there are some things that indicate trouble ahead. A decision is made and the consequences are not good. Does that mean God has abandonned them? No. Thankfully, God is still with them, even when thee wrong choice is made.

Blessingss,
John

We have a strange picture today. The Apostle Paul, in chains, standing before rulers and officials giving his testimony. In reality though, it is Paul who is free, free from the bo***ge of sin. And the rulers and officials sitting there listening to him are actually the ones in spiritual chains. Join us today, May 31st, as we take a look at Acts 25:23 through Acts 26:32.

Blessings,
John

Making decisions may not always be that easy. Other times, the choice seems obvious. Today, May 24th, we see a series of choices being made or not made. These decisions or lack of them had impacts on the people invloved and many others. Let's take a look at Acts 25:1-22 to see if we can learn something about making decisions.

Blessings,
John

Our sermon today, May 17th, is on Acts 24. Paul has made to Caesarea and he faces another trial. Rather than ruling on the case, his judge puts off making a descision. And, in a way, his judge, Felix, faces another kind of trial. He is convicted of his sin but puts off putting his faith in Jesus Christ. And he puts it off so many times that he no longer responds to gospel.

Blessings,
John

Today, May 1o, 2026, we are continuing our study of the book of Acts by looking at Acts 23:12-35. Paul is facing a threat to his life by the hands of assassins. And Paul is delivered from this threat. In the process, He uses the tools God has provided. But Paul also fully knows that it is God who is delivering him.

Blessings,
John

We are continuing our study of Acts today, May 3, 2026, as we look at Acts 22:23 through chapter 23:11. The Roman commander is still trying to figure out what is going on and Paul adds his own twists to this series of events. In it all, despite the upheaval and danger, we see God still at work.

Blessings,
John

Today, April 26, 2026, we are back to our study of the Book of Acts. We are looking at Acts 21:27 through Acts 22:22. This is when the plans of the Elders in the Jerusalem Church kind of blow up and Paul is cuaght in the middle.

Blessings,
John
