In Luke 5, four friends refused to let anything stand between their paralyzed friend and Jesus; they carried his mat, climbed the roof, and made a way for him to encounter Jesus.

That’s what real community looks like. Sometimes we need someone to carry our mat, and sometimes God has called us to carry someone else’s. We’re called to be the kind of people who show up, pray, encourage, and help others move closer to Jesus. Find your people. Carry your people. Bring your people to Jesus.

The Bible isn't meant to just be something we read, but something that reads us!

Knowledge without transformation is just information. The goal isn’t just to know more Scripture—it’s to live it out.

So how do we actually study the Bible in a way that transforms us?

1️⃣ Choose a translation you understand
2️⃣ Choose a time, place, and plan
3️⃣ Seek to understand the context
4️⃣ Read slowly and ask questions
5️⃣ Pray and apply what God shows you

Don’t just read the Word. Let the Word change you.

You don’t have to understand everything before you begin. Just open the Word of God.

Today we wrapped up our You Asked For It series by learning how to unlock the Bible; not just by reading it, but by understanding it, applying it, and allowing God’s Word to transform us.

The goal isn’t just to know more Bible. The goal is to become more like Jesus.

Choose a translation you understand. Make a plan. Slow down. Ask questions. Understand the context. Pray. And then, live it out.

Don’t just underline it. Live it.
Don’t just highlight it. Obey it.
Don’t just read it. Respond to it.
