Pastor Clarissa started us off this week reminding us that valley experiences are not designed for us to homestead, but to walk-through.

Today, she closed our first fruit prayer time with this thought; God Is A Promise Keeper.

2 Corinthians 1:20 reminds us that every promise of God finds its fulfillment in Christ.

God is faithful—He does not make promises He cannot keep. Even when circumstances change, the waiting becomes difficult, or we cannot see how things will work out, His Word remains trustworthy.

Our final thoughts were that God’s delay does not mean God’s denial.

Keep praying, keep believing, keep obeying, and keep standing on His Word.

If God promised it, we can trust Him to fulfill it according to His will and timing.

What promise of God are you standing on while you wait?

Happy Friday, see you Sunday in the sanctuary!

Pastor Clarissa led us through the valley at morning prayer time. She wanted to encourage us to keep moving through our valleys in life.

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.” — Psalm 23:4 (KJV)

The power is in the word “through.” David didn’t say, “I will live in the valley.” He said, “I walk through.”

Too often we hit low places and we remain there. How do we remain? Complaining, talking about it too much, crying about it too long, and trying to manipulate the valley experiences without growth
She let us know that the valley is a place you pass through, not your permanent destination. There may be darkness, uncertainty, grief, opposition, or fear—but God’s presence goes with you.

The valley is not designed for us to remain, it is designed for us to grow in faith, in trust and in confidence in God.

See ya Thursday and Friday in prayer at 6 am.
