When you know who you are in God, know that you have an advocate in Him.
You don't have to tell anyone who or what you are or aren't.
He becomes your advocate, and your testimony through Him speaks for itself.
Satan can use willing vessels just the same as God does, which can create unwarranted problems in your life.
Joseph, in the bible, had this problem.
Despite being tossed in a hole and sold into slavery by his brothers -- who made their Father, Jacob, believe he had been killed by a wild animal -- he still served God through his master, Potiphar, by being a righteous man and working hard for him.
Because of this, Potiphar recognizes his merit and puts him in charge of everything in his whole home.
When Joseph gets a little older, Potiphar's wife tries to lay with Joseph, and Joseph refuses her, so much so that when the wife tries to pull on him and grab onto his coat, and he pulled out of the coat and ran away.
Because of this, the wife goes and tells the Potiphar that Joseph tried to lay with her, and uses his coat AGAINST Joseph to support her story. Potiphar, then, throws Joseph in jail.
For years, while Joseph is in jail, he continues to honor God and be righteous, also being put in charge as a "trustee," because of his goodness. He helped people and continued to serve God, and even, with God's help, interpreted the Phar'aoh's dreams, giving him wisdom to help guide him through an upcoming famine. The Phar'aoh chooses to make Joseph in charge over gathering the food they would need to survive, which makes Joseph the most important man in all of Egypt.
God uses all of his trials to eventually bring his brothers and familial relationship back to restoration and healing, and continued to bless Joseph far beyond his imagination. Jacob, Joseph's father, name was changed to Israel because of his own faithfulness -- whose generation established the Israelites.
All of the hardships that Joseph went through brought about the destiny that God planned for him. No trial, trouble, mountain or tribulation that stood before Joseph was too big for the God he served, and continued to serve even in their midst.
Yes, we all have troubles, but just know that as long as we keep our eyes, minds and hearts focused on The Father, He will speak for and through you, while guiding you through it all. You're never facing it alone, and you needn't worry about the outcome. Just keep your faith and stay faithful.
"And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love the Lord, for those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. And those whom He predestined He also called, and those whom He called He also justified, and those whom He justified He also glorified."
Amen and amen!
