Washington Reformation UCC Worship Services are Sunday at 9:15 a.m. Sunday School follows at 10:30 a.m. Washington Church continues to be a strong and vital presence in rural Monticello.

Washington Reformation UCC is a healthy and growing congregation, lying in the heart of Wisconsin’s dairy country. Our congregation is made up of people young and old, living not only in Washington Township, but in Monticello, Monroe, New Glarus, Belleville, and Albany. Our congregation is a part of the United Church of Christ, a mainline denomination with roots in early colonial Congregationalism and German and Swiss Reformed Churches. Today, however, we are a diverse fellowship and we seek to reach out to people of all religious backgrounds with the message of God’s love. Washington Church was started by Swiss farmers in 1876. The original building was destroyed by fire in 1965 and the present structure was built in 1967. A Sunday School addition was built in 1980 and an enlargement to the narthex was completed in 2004. Services are held every Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m. - all are welcome
Christian Education classes follow worship at 10:30 a.m.

WE WILL BE HAVING A FOOD DRIVE FOR GREEN CARES DURING THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER—PLEASE BRING A NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEM FOR THE FOOD PANTRY TO WORSHIP EACH WEEK. WHATEVER YOU LIKE TO EAT, SOMEONE ELSE WILL LIKE TO EAT.

It is time to order Poinsettias for Christmas. There are order forms at church or you may call the church office and Pastor Kelly will help you: 608-938-4550. Orders are due this Sunday!

Thank you to everyone who ordered cookie dough from our Confirmation students—The cookie dough will be available for you to pick up this Sunday!

There are order forms to order the large church photo taken at the 150th Anniversary. You can order photos and various other items as well. If you are only at home, just call the church office and Pastor Kelly will help you.

This Sunday, November 1 is All Saints Day and we will be honoring church members who have died in the past year and will also honor church members' friends and family members who have died in the last year.

Our church is hosting the Halloween Bonfire in Monticello at the octagon shelter by the Lake this Saturday, October 31 at 5PM. Please come to enjoy some Halloween fun with neighbors!

Monday Night Bible meets next Monday, November 2 at 6:30PM.

Consistory meets next Wednesday, November 4 at 6:30 PM.

Dough will be available on November 1—there is chocolate chip, sugar cookie dough, monster cookie dough which is gluten free and a 9 inch baked chocolate chip cookie. If you are only home, please call Pastor Kelly and she will help you.
