Washington Reformation UCC

Washington Reformation UCC Worship Services are Sunday at 9:15 a.m. Sunday School follows at 10:30 a.m. Washington Church continues to be a strong and vital presence in rural Monticello.

Washington Reformation UCC is a healthy and growing congregation, lying in the heart of Wisconsin’s dairy country. Our congregation is made up of people young and old, living not only in Washington Township, but in Monticello, Monroe, New Glarus, Belleville, and Albany. Our congregation is a part of the United Church of Christ, a mainline denomination with roots in early colonial Congregationalism

and German and Swiss Reformed Churches. Today, however, we are a diverse fellowship and we seek to reach out to people of all religious backgrounds with the message of God’s love. Washington Church was started by Swiss farmers in 1876. The original building was destroyed by fire in 1965 and the present structure was built in 1967. A Sunday School addition was built in 1980 and an enlargement to the narthex was completed in 2004. Services are held every Sunday morning at 9:15 a.m. - all are welcome
Christian Education classes follow worship at 10:30 a.m.

July 4th Music Festival is only 3 short weeks away!! There are sign -up sheets at church for ground beef, brats, chips, water, soda, side dishes to share. We need a griller and all kinds of help for set-up and cleaning when the event is over. Thanks to all wonderful helpers and volunteers!

The quilt for this year's July 4th raffle is in the narthex and it is spectacular!!! Raffle tickets are on sale, $1 each or 6 for $5.

Monday, June 29 is Community Night at New Glarus Culver’s, 4-7PM and benefits Friends of New Glarus Home—enjoy a burger and custard and help the residents of NG Home!

Baccalaureate Service is this Sunday at 7PM everyone is welcome to attend. Thanks to everyone who has signed up to bring items for the reception, please leave them in the church kitchen for Sunday evening.
