A reminder that we will be gathering this Trinity Sunday, May 31, 2026 for Morning Prayer at 11:30 a.m. If you have a chance please respond whether or not you’ll be attending.

Also a reminder that we will be celebrating Flag Day Open House & Lawn Party on Sunday, June 14,2026. The day will begin with Holy Eucharist presided by Fr. Brian at 11:30 a.m. See the attached flyer.

Greetings!

I am just saying hello with a reminder about a special start time for this-coming Sunday—May 17th—at St. Andrew’s. We start at 10:15 a.m.

Koinonia Informal Small Group

Why? Koinonia! That’s the Greek term that’s usually translated ‘fellowship.’

We agreed to study fellowship and other aspects of koinonia with a once-a-month informal small group. Although the actual dates will be flexible, the plan is to meet once each month from May through September.

The plan for our meeting this Sunday is as follows:

· Begin at 10:15 a.m..

· Do our ‘coffee hour’ with light refreshments during the meeting.

· Koinonia discussion and sharing runs from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m.

· Worship together with Holy Eucharist as usual at 11:30 a.m.

· No coffee hour will be held following worship.

Again, this is a once-a-month special meeting and time. Please come.

Remaining Schedule for May

May 17 Koinonia & Holy Eucharist 10:15 a.m.

May 24 Holy Eucharist (tentative) with Fr. Brian 11: 30 a.m.

(Note: This weekend is the weekend of Memorial Day on May 25th. If people are traveling, Fr. Brian is willing to celebrate Holy Eucharist on May 31st instead. Morning Prayer would be held instead on the 24th.)

May 31 Morning Prayer 11:30 a.m. (Alternate date for Holy Eucharist).

We will finalize these plans when we meet together this-coming Sunday!

Parish News

The Light of Christ Grant Marilee and Robbie received word from Fr. Scott Leannah that the grant that Marilee wrote has been approved. The amount awarded is $2,000. These funds are for 1) the church sign and 2) a new back deck and stairs!

Flag Day Celebration June 14th St. Andrew’s is looking forward to celebrating Flag Day as an open house, lawn party outreach to the community. We will have yard games for the entire family along with a sharing of our church history and worship space inside. Refreshments will be provided. Kris W will be sharing the minutes of this meeting in the days ahead.

An early Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms. Whether by blood or choice we all have so much to be thankful for these wonderful women who have comforted and nurtured us. Tomorrow Sunday, May 10, 2026 we will be gathering for Morning Prayer at 11:30 a.m. We hope you can join us. Know that we continue to hold you all up in prayer.

Just a reminder that we will be gathering for Morning Prayer tomorrow at 11:30 am to celebrate the 5th Sunday of Easter. Robbie will be leading the service - thank you Robbie for your dedication!
