You may not understand His timing, His methods, or why He has not given you every explanation you want. But do not let your unmet expectations distort what you know about Him or convince you that He does not know what He is doing. You may be judging a work God has not finished yet.

The next time you hear yourself saying, “I don’t like that. I thought God would handle this differently,” recognize that you have reached a decision point:

Will I resist Jesus because He is not working the way I expected, or will I let God’s wisdom shape how I respond to Him?
