We had a wonderful time at the Women's Retreat this past weekend! So thankful for all the women who came, God's beautiful creation and perfect weather, and our engaging speaker, Mandy Love, from Redemption City Church.

It's an incredible promise: in our mourning, the God of Creation comes alongside us to comfort us. Now, that's the good life 🙌

The world tells you that what you need is in yourself – you can do it, you are strong, you have hope inside. But the truth of the Gospel is that apart from Christ, I can do nothing. Does this leave me in a position of destitution? No! Because the truth of the Gospel also tells me his grace is sufficient for me, for his power is made perfect in my weakness. What an amazing truth that we are to rejoice in! Start your day by shaving off the thin veneer self-sufficiency and coming to Jesus in full confession of your weakness, trusting him to do what only he can in his grace and strength.

When Jesus looked at the paralyzed man, He didn't just see physical brokenness - He saw a man in need of forgiveness first. What we want vs. what we need can be two very different things, BUT Jesus always knows what we NEED. Hallelujah!

So very thankful for the Life Action team that hosted the Hope Conference last week, and all who joined us! We pray that it was as powerful and challenging for you as it was for us.

Are you drifting away from God without even realizing it? When we focus on the world instead of God's Word, we slowly drift from His truth. Don't let culture pull you away – anchor yourself in His promises!

We love Baby Dedication Sunday! It is a blessing to see these parents commit to raising their kids faithfully in Christ. What an honor it is to pray over these families and pleade to care for them as a body. Praise the Lord!

Are you too comfortable with the truth of the Gospel, or do you REALLY live like Jesus is alive? This question will shake you out of spiritual complacency and challenge you to live with the reality that changes everything.

There are two types of people in Pittsburgh right now: those that can't wait for the NFL draft and those that can't wait for the NFL draft to be over. An estimated 70,000 people are expected to descend upon our fair city this weekend, creating chaos and demand on roads, restaurants, and venues. A significant inconvenience for the most die hard of fans. But a die hard's focus is not the inconvenience, but the long-awaited NFL draft. They will hurdle past these inconveniences to display their ardent affection for their beloved sport and franchise.

What if we approached God, His glory, and His fame in the same way? No matter the inconvenience, no matter the cost. What if our affections for God were so central that the inconvenience just proved how much we loved and adore Him?
