A group from ULM BCM and served this past week in Madrid, Spain with This was a mission lab event where students from Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Iowa, and Florida gathered together to learn how to share the Gospel in an international setting.
Each day featured teaching from IMB personnel on how to effectively share the gospel in conversations. Then the teams divided across the city to pray, walk, and meet students on campus to learn about their culture and to share the Gospel.
The goal now is to take these things learned and put them into practice. Hunter Lord says about the experience, “It was great sharing the gospel this past week. I got to get an understanding of a different culture and how to share God through those differences.” James Burris says, “I encourage anyone who gets the opportunity to travel on a mission trip to take it as soon as they can. Getting to share the word in another country was an experience I’ll forever be grateful for and has taught me that I can do the same things in my hometown.”
