MI MomCo.... what is it?

Monmouth Independence Mom Community group.

We are a group of moms with kids aged infant through seniors in high school who meet regularly to build friendships, gain support on the motherhood journey, and ultimately be equipped in the role that God has placed us in.

Are you looking for connection?

A moment to drink your coffee hot and have an adult conversation at the same time?

We have guest speakers, watch MomCo videos, do service projects, crafts, and have conversations all while our children are cared for in the provided childcare.

This year's theme is "Good Company". "You are no longer foreigners or strangers, but fellow citizens with God's people and also members of his household. " Ephesians 2:19.

We are family. You are not alone in motherhood. Come join us. 1st meeting is free to check us out.

Thank you, Dr. Keller for leading us in Psalm 136.

The repeat of "His love endures forever" is an echoed promise from the past that reaches to today.

And not only has that promise endured, but it reminds us of God's great abundance to us.

PRAYER FOCUS

THAT MINISTRY CONTINUES TO FLOURISH DURING TRANSITION

Scripture:
1 Corinthians 15:58
" Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."

This verse reminds us to fully focus on God no matter what the task. In our church body that could be... front door greeter, sound tech, coffee preparing, Communion bread maker, custodial service, song slides tech, worship team member, kid's ministry, church maintenance, community group leader, CR meal prep...and countless other jobs.

Regardless of what your role is in the body, you have a part to play. If you're not connected to a ministry group to serve, you are genuinely missing out.

God designed you with gifts and abilities to reach others for Jesus. We all have a purpose.

Let us pray:
God, keep us faithful and fruitful in Your work. May we recognize the simple moments of our lives as Kingdom Work. Thank you that where you have placed our feet is right where we're meant to serve. AMEN.

Psalm 19
Dr. Jake Rainwater brought the message this last Sunday.

We saw general revelation come from nature in this passage. The mountains and rocks cry out for God. They cry out that God is in existence.

The words for God is a special revelation. We are meant to worship with our words.

The power in our confession of sin just as David does in this Psalm points us to the law and Jesus. The law is the perfect embodiment of God's word.

A small yet mighty crew tackled a huge project!

Gratitude and church community go hand-in-hand.

When we work together, the work is easier, yes, but we also build community.
