We couldn’t let Pastor Appreciation Month pass without taking a moment to celebrate our amazing Pastoral Team! Each of them endlessly gives of time and talents, to lead, serve, and love our church family. Community Life Church is so thankful for our Pastoral Team!
Stephen and Karissa truly embody what it means to journey with others through life and faith. Their family leads Community Life Church with humility, laughter, and most importantly, a deep love for Jesus and for people. Whether it’s preaching, leading worship, praying and supporting, organizing all the things, remembering all the important details, problem solving, or tossing candy into the audience (What? Your Pastor doesn’t do that?!), they keep God at the front of it all, and lead humbly. Their whole family serves together and they believe that so much of ministry isn’t taught, it’s caught. They lead by example and with unity as the body of Christ! They seek God’s wisdom in all that they do. Leading a church is no small task, but they do it with vision, passion, and grace. We are so grateful for their leadership and hearts for this community.
Tim and Ashley have been faithfully leading our Community Life Youth for several years and our youth are better for it! They go all out for these students. Tim and Ashley bring wisdom, experience, and a special spark to youth ministry. CLC Youth on Wednesdays are filled with laughter, epic games, challenging messages, and heartfelt worship. Tim and Ashley have a gift where they know no stranger, and make everyone feel welcome. They see the giftings and potential in each person and call it out boldly and will help youth explore what that even means. Their love for our youth is evident in every conversation, prayer, and moment they spend investing in our youth. We are so thankful for this family and what they are doing for our youth!
Sarah Jensen, with her husband Avery by her side, stepped boldly into the role of Children’s Director about a year ago, and we couldn’t be more thankful! She knows that even the littlest of ears need to hear God’s word and she speaks truth over each of them! Every Sunday, our kids are bursting to go when it’s time to line up for Kid’s Church. A true reflection of the nurturing care and detail that has been poured into this specifically designed space for our nursery and elementary aged kids. Together, Sarah and Avery ensure that every child feels seen, heard, and knows how deeply loved by Jesus they are. Their heart for God’s Word and passion for helping kids grow in their faith inspires all of us.
Thank you for living out Community Life Church’s vision and mission. To be daily devoted followers of Jesus and to join others on their journey through life and faith. Collectively you light up every corner of our church. We are so thankful for your vision, leadership, and your hearts to follow Jesus each and every day.
