Today we talked about two huge traps we face when stepping into God's calling:
The Trap of Insecurity: Don't be Eliab. When God promotes or uses someone else, kingdom maturity means celebrating with others instead of letting comparison make us bitter.
The Trap of Borrowed Armor: Saul tried to dress David in armor that wasn’t made for him. You will never win your battles trying to be like someone else—God calls you to step out in the unique gifts and preparation He gave you.
And best of all, we remembered that David is just a shadow of the True Champion: King Jesus, who stepped into the valley to conquer sin and death on our behalf.
