Sunday, June 7, 2026 – Worship with Holy Communion at 9:00 a.m. Though Jesus was a devout Jew who practiced his faith, he was criticized for eating with tax collectors and sinners—the religiously nonobservant. Jesus criticizes the self-righteous and reminds us that mercy is to be at the heart of our religious practices. God continues to be made known in those on the margins of society, like Matthew the tax collector and the hemorrhaging woman. As we gather each Lord’s day we receive the healing that makes us well and sends us forth to be signs of God’s mercy for the world.

Sunday, May 31, 2026 – Trinity Sunday—Worship with Holy Communion at 9:00 a.m. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. More than a doctrine, the Trinity expresses the heart of our faith: we have experienced the God of creation made known in Jesus Christ and with us always through the Holy Spirit. We celebrate the mystery of the Holy Trinity in word and sacrament, as we profess the creed, and as we are sent into the world to bear witness to our faith.

Welcome Luther Park Bible Camp staff who will be installed at today’s service. They will be singing VBS/Camp songs - come join the fun! Breakfast in the fellowship hall after the service.

This Sunday we will be installing the counselors at Luther Park Bible Camp - AND THEY WILL BE LEADING THE MUSIC!

We had a great turn out for our chicken dinner on May 17!

Thanks to all the volunteer for making this meal happen! It could not be done without the council, the downstairs drive thru crew, the confirmation kids and parents, and this year- Mondovi’s royalty!

With the proceeds from the chicken dinner supporting the food pantry, the mission trip, the parking lot fund and the mission of Central!

The Mystery Dinner held in May 9th was a joy- from the random items you received when you chose your courses to eating with no silverware because you had them and only them for course one. To the door prizes for coming and the busy kitchen it was a joy!

Thanks for everyone who joined us- the youth raised $1100 from the dinner!

Off to Savannah in 16 days!
