Effective April 1, 2025 Oak Park Cemetery has a few changes in rules going into effect. Due to some recent complaints the cemetery finds it necessary for the changes in order to manage the grounds more efficiently and effectively. Starting April 1, 2025 there shall be no artificial flowers or any items of any kind on the ground or on monuments. Military plaque flag holders may remain in place. All flowers and/or items must be placed in an above ground pot stand with at least a 1" pole. Attached is an example of acceptable stand. Shepard hooks are also no longer allowed. We apologize for this change and inconvenience. Oak Park Cemetery will have pot stands available for purchase otherwise most monument companies have them available as well.
