The Gathering

The Gathering Sundays, 10am. The Gathering QC is a church in the Quad Cities area in Illinois. It's as simple as that.

We strive to be a church that respond's to God's call, gathers to worship Him, and then scatters to be the people of God in our everyday lives.

Our Kids Church lesson today was from Matthew 7, the parable of the wise and foolish builders.
Life’s trials and storms are unavoidable. A life built on obedience to God is where we find stability, while a life based on constant shifting and disobedient choices is unstable. Life may not be easy at times but Jesus is our firm foundation providing stability, peace, & security.

2. Find places that calm your soul.
3. Find people that speak joy & peace to your life.
4. Find peace by living on purpose and serving others.

The Easter egg extravaganza with our youth/young adults was a success! Teams raced to solve clues and find hidden Easter eggs around the church. We had a lot of fun and also had some great discussion at the end about Palm Sunday. Thanks to all who attended!
