Mark 4:21–29 asks a powerful question: What are you going to do with the light you’ve been given?

Jesus says a lamp isn’t meant to be hidden—it’s meant to shine. When we receive Him, His truth changes us, but it was never meant to stay contained within us. The gospel is meant to be seen in how we live, love, and lead others.

At the same time, Jesus compares the Kingdom to a seed growing in ways we can’t fully see or control. Our job is faithfulness: sowing, sharing, obeying. God is the one who brings growth.

So in light of this passage, the question becomes:

Will you hide what God has done in you, or will you let it shine?
Will you keep the seed to yourself, or will you scatter it generously?
Will you trust God with the growth, even when you can’t see it yet?

Your life has been entrusted with the light of Jesus. What you do with it matters. The Kingdom grows when ordinary people choose to live visibly for Christ and faithfully plant seeds for Him.

Happy Father’s Day!

Today we celebrate and honor the fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, mentors, and spiritual fathers who faithfully love, lead, serve, and point others toward Jesus.

Thank you for the impact you make in your families, our church, and our community. We are grateful for the example of faith, strength, and grace you provide.

Praying God’s blessing over all the men who invest in the next generation and reflect the love of our Heavenly Father.

Did you know that Monaz youth group has a leadership group?!

It’s called Ignite and they are leaders for Monaz Youth group! Teens, just like you, being leaders to represent the youth group! They meet weekly for Bible study, help plan fun events, and even come together to serve!

Today some of the Ignite leadership crew helped with clearing brush out of Miss. Jean’s yard. A time to serve and fellowship.

What a beautiful picture of what it looks like for one generation to serve one another!

Join some of the teen Ignite leaders tonight at youth group for a meal and Bible study!
