Don’t Wait Until the Grave to Hear His Voice

Jesus says in John 5:25, “The dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.”

There is coming a day when every person will hear the voice of Jesus. His voice will call the dead from their graves, and everyone will stand before Him. But Jesus isn’t only talking about a future resurrection—He is inviting us to respond to His voice right now.

We don’t have to wait until the grave to hear Him.

Hear His voice now.
Jesus is speaking into our lives through His Word, calling us out of sin, fear, complacency, and spiritual death.

Believe Him now.
Hearing Jesus requires a response. We can hear His words without surrendering to His authority. Faith means trusting that what Jesus says is true and allowing His voice to change us.

Live because of Him now.
Jesus doesn’t simply promise life after death. He brings life to the spiritually dead today. His voice calls us into a new way of living—walking in obedience, surrender, purpose, and relationship with Him.

One day, every grave will hear His voice.

But why wait for the grave?

In John 5:25–30, Jesus reminds us that His voice brings life.

The question isn’t whether Jesus is speaking—the question is whether we are listening.

Hear His voice.
Believe His voice.
Live His voice.

We don’t have to wait until eternity to experience the life Jesus offers. His invitation is today.

Don’t wait for the grave to hear His voice. Hear it. Believe it. Live it.
