I’m so sorry to those we had to turn away yesterday and today because we ran out of food. I never know how many to cook for, some days we have 20 other days we have 75.

But I promise to keep making yummy food and will try to make it stretch as far as we can.

Well Mitchell you set a record today in our lunch program and I saw many new faces. I’m so excited that you chose to join us today. I hope you enjoyed the homemade coleslaw. It was the first time I have ever made coleslaw from scratch.

I hope we see each of you tomorrow.

Make sure to stay hydrated today and also to stay in the shade if you have to be outside. It’s gross out!

Today we will be having fancy sandwiches with homemade coleslaw and a dessert. We were gonna have something else, but Captain Kristen pulled out hotdog instead of ground beef to thaw. So tomorrow, we’ll have what she was planning for today.
