Dear Church Family and Friends, please be praying for the Ethan community. By now you've all likely heard about the terrible multi-vehicle crash in the Reliance area yesterday. The two fatalities both have connections here in our region. Several of those with serious injuries also have connections to our area. Pray for God's presence and grace to the families involved. Pray for healing and recovery for those hospitalized. And pray for the Ethan school system and students. The loss of a assistant coach, teacher, and friend is deeply felt by staff and students alike. This has also impacted our church family because of our membership and youth connections to Ethan and the greater community

Friends, be praying for Jayne Barnard. This morning (Saturday morning) she was flown to Sioux Falls Heart Hospital and will be having surgery. It was discovered a couple days ago that Jayne had blood clots in one of her legs and lungs. Matt is also on his way to Sioux Falls.

Dear Church Family, I want to let you know that we have lost another dear church member. Alice Claggett passed away last night. The Service to honor her life and faith will be at our church on Monday, October 6 at 10:30 am. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 1-3 pm also at our church. Please keep John & Linda and the entire Claggett family in your prayers.

Dear Church Family, Today our church lost two dear ladies. LouOra Houk passed away and also Louise Metz passed away. No arrangements have been made by either family. Please pray for LouOra's and Louise's families...and our own church family in this time of loss. When service arrangements are made we will pass that on.

Also, Debbie Vaughn has been in touch. Gary is really in need of our prayers this evening. There is some swelling in the brain and if that continues he may need surgery on Saturday. Prayers appreciated. Thank you!

Dear Church Family, we have an urgent prayer request. Gary Vaughn, Debbie Vaughn's husband has a serious medical issue going on. He has been transferred to SF Avera. Debbie is asking for prayers for Gary. I'd add we should also pray for strength for Debbie too. Debbie says they believe Gary has had a stroke but it is in a part of the brain that impacts balance, not cognitive or personality issues. So, be praying for Gary and Debbie.

Thanks to all for your prayers for LouOra. She had surgery this morning and came through fine. I, Pastor Keith, saw her late afternoon and she was sitting up in bed and visiting. Keep praying for a good recovery. LouOra sends her greetings and thanks to all.

Hey Church Family. This is Pastor Keith. Just want to let you all know that LouOra Houk fell this morning at Wesley Acres. She did break a hip and will be having surgery in the morning. I told LouOra that we'd all be praying for her. Byron was with her at the hospital. Please be praying for LouOra and the team performing the surgery in the morning. Thank you!!

Hello Everyone. Yesterday during worship we prayed for Natalie Piehl's dad, who was very ill and in the ICU at the VA Hospital in Sioux Falls. Natalie shared with us this morning that her dad passed away last night (Sunday Night). Please keep Natalie and family in your prayers.

Hello Everyone. Just to give you an update on Mary Mountain. We received word that Mary passed away earlier this morning. No word on arrangements or services. Please hold the family in your prayers. There are also some of our own church members who were very close to Mary, they too are grieving. Mary was truly a delightful lady. I'm (Pastor Keith) glad I got to know Mary.

Hello Everyone, Many of you might remember Mary Mountain. She moved away from Mitchell several years ago to be closer to family in Iowa. Mary has had a stroke and also has pneumonia. Things are very serious for her. So, please hold Mary, and family, in your prayers. Thank you!
