Dear Father God,

Today I want to ask for Your special blessing upon the people who minister in Your name to Children at home, in churches, in schools and around the world.

Please continue to work through each one of these Your servants to spiritually nurture the children under their care.

Help each children's worker to remain faithful to You, to Your purpose, and to the welfare of the children in their care.

I pray also that You would remove those who do not belong in this place of authority and influence over Your children; those who do not have the gifts or compassion and those whose motives are not pure and would cause harm.

You have all the authority and I ask you to do what is necessary to protect and nurture each child.

Father God, thank You for loving all children and for giving Jesus to each child as their Savior and Lord.

Jesus loves the little children, all the children of the world...

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me,
and do not forbid them;
for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
Matthew 19:4

Dear Lord God,

The hymn Faith of Our Fathers inspires me to follow the examples of Christians throughout history and, like them, to trust You, my Father in Heaven...

Faith of our fathers, living still,
In spite of dungeon, fire, and sword;
Oh, how our hearts beat high with joy
Whene’er we hear that glorious Word!

Faith of our fathers, holy faith!
We will be true to thee till death.

Our fathers, chained in prisons dark,
Were still in heart and conscience free;
How sweet would be their children’s fate,
If they, like them, could die for thee!
Faith of our fathers, we will strive
To win all nations unto thee;
And through the truth that comes from God,
We all shall then be truly free.
Faith of our fathers, we will love
Both friend and foe in all our strife;

By kindly words and virtuous life.
I want to thank you for the faith of many Christian fathers and mothers who passed along to me their wisdom and inspiring faith.

Thank You for the faith of those who influenced me so that I might have faith in You.

Thank You for Your Holy Bible that sheds light and provides hope for me.

Please strengthen me and grant me courage and wisdom to live such a life and to take such actions that I may influence other people’s lives with your great love and mercy.

That they may know that you are God, the Almighty who created us and loves us forever.

That they may come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.

Please reign in my life now and forevermore.

Dear Heavenly Father,

The Bible teaches that "faith without works is dead." James 2:26

Please give to me the wisdom and inspiration to step out of my comfort zone and to put my faith into action.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God,
who gives to all liberally and without reproach,
and it will be given to him. James 1:5

I don’t want to keep the good news of Jesus and His gift of eternal life to myself.

I want to share Your love, grace, mercy and salvation with everyone, as Jesus told us...

And Jesus said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature."
Mark 16:15

I want to to show and tell others what You have done for me.

I want to prove that my faith is real, so that others will be drawn to You.

Please forgive me for when I have not represented You well.

Please help me to be strong and active in my Christian faith and witness — for Your glory and for the sake of those who need Your love and salvation.

And let me hold onto your great promises to me for my future...

But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬

Dear Father God,

Today we celebrate and pray for fathers, and we ask You to bless and encourage all of the fathers in our lives.

We thank You for our natural fathers, as well as for all of the fathers You have placed in our lives when we most needed their wisdom, counsel, love and encouragement.

I pray for the children of all ages, babies through adults, whose fathers are absent — whether through work demands, abandonment, prison, death or any other reasons.

I pray for those men who desire to be fathers, and for fathers who have been separated from their children.

I pray for comfort, peace, love and for Your Heavenly Fatherly presence that only You can provide for each person.

I pray that You, the Father to the fatherless, will fill every void which they have in their hearts and homes.
Psalms 68:5

Please heal their hearts and minds. Let them know that they are precious in Your sight.

Show them that they are not abandoned, nor are they alone, because You are with them.

Let each one know that they have value in Your sight and in Your divine plans and purposes for them.

Please send devoted Christian friends to surround them and to encourage them.

Please provide loving Christian mentors to teach, to guide and to shepherd them.

Please meet their every need—spiritual, emotional, physical and material.

I pray that each one will recognize their special place in Your Kingdom and Your divine purpose for their life.

May Your blessings abound as they look to You, our Abba Father and Maker.

Dear Father in Heaven,

Thank You for sending Your Son, my Lord Jesus Christ, who gave His life for me on the cruel Cross.

Jesus tells us...

"...take up the cross and follow me."
Mark 10:21

My precious Savior, I love You and I take up the cross and give You my life.

I'm reminded of the hymn Wherever He Leads I'll Go...

"Take up thy cross and follow Me,"
I heard my Master say;
"I gave My life to ransom thee,
Surrender your all today."

Wherever He Leads I'll Go,
Wherever He leads I'll go;
I'll follow my Christ who loves me so,
Wherever He leads I'll go.

He drew me closer to His side
I sought His will to know
And in that will I now abide
Wherever He leads I'll go

My heart, my life, my all I bring
To Christ who loves me so
He is my Master, Lord, and King
Wherever He leads I'll go

Lord, please lead me, I will follow You.

I am listening for You, I am willing to go wherever You lead me today.

With Your love, Your strength, and Your guidance I can do anything that You call me to do.
