Everybody wants to become… but very few are willing to surrender.
Here’s what I’ve learned: we love the promises of God, but we often struggle with the process. We want purpose without pruning, promotion without preparation, and victory without sacrifice.
The truth is, God is far more interested in who you’re becoming than simply where you’re going. Before David wore the crown, he tended sheep. Before Esther wore the crown, she went through preparation. Before Jesus walked in resurrection power, He surrendered in Gethsemane.
Luke 22:42 (KJV)
“Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.”
Surrender isn’t giving up. It’s giving God permission to lead.
Question for you: What is one thing you’ve been holding onto that God may be asking you to place in His hands?
If you’re ready to walk through the journey of Purge, Accept, Impart, and Deploy, I invite you to join us this November at The P.A.I.D. Xperience Women’s Conference.
