S U N D A Y | Part TWO

Sunday afternoon, we celebrated 50 years of the continuous faithful ministry of Pastor McMorris! Over 30 years have been spent here at Mio Baptist Church! What a blessing it is for a church to have the consistency and faithfulness of a pastor who absolutely loves what he does.

We heard testimonies from many of our deacons, past intern/assistant pastors who have worked closely with Pastor, as well as his two sons, who shared with us the love and heart of a man who loves MBC and the Lord greatly.

Thank you, Pastor McMorris and Sharron, for all the years of loving care you have given Mio Baptist Church and the more to come. We are so thankful for God's goodness and faithfulness!

S U N D A Y | Part One

What a wonderful message from John Flanders Sunday morning! We reflected on the Apostle Paul's faithful testimony and example and his investment into Timothy to encourage him to grow in his ministry to the Lord. It is a blessing for a church to have a Pastor that continues in faithful ministry all the while growing others up to the charge of faithful ministry themselves. Leading by example, encouraging, loving, teaching, having patience, and endurance.

In times of trouble and deep suffering, we have help! Trust God with your life, and He will give you all you need to walk through whatever trial you face.

Well, that's a wrap! It was a fun year with the Truth Trackers! Thank you for the opportunity to partner with you in the important work of teaching them God's truth! We are so proud of all their hard work and look forward to next year!

The kids have worked so hard all year learning doctrine and memorizing verses! Join us at 7 PM tonight as we celebrate their diligence and encourage them to continue to grow in their faith!
