It was a busy last week of Vacation Bible School. We learned all about creatures great and small this week and how God made us perfectly unique with a purpose.
Monday we learned about bugs, we made butterflies, dragonflies and bees. We played bingo for some fun prizes.

Tuesday we learned about aquatic animals and made aquatic frogs, whales, sharks and glow in the dark oceans, played capture the flag.

Wednesday we learned about pets and made pet rocks, and painted some of our favorite pets with stencils. The Superior Zoomobile came and taught us about a Red Footed Tortoise, a corn snake and an African millipede. We also went to the Minong park and played kickball.

Thursday we learned all about farm animals and made pine cone turkeys, Pom Pom chicks, a special Thank you, to Jay Link and A&W for lunch of burgers, fries and root beer floats!! And to Jack, Mary Jo Link and JLAAC for letting us go swimming!! We also played twister and Gaga ball.

Friday Olympics between the church and the Aquatic center, we made customized shirts and thanks to TR Club Northern for making us some delicious pizza!!

It was a fabulous week!! Can’t wait for more opportunities for more community kid programs.

Our last two days of VBS were hot but a lot of fun. We went camping alongside the Namekagon River on Thursday night, learning to prep food, set up camp, start a fire and cook over it. We had to add cooling off in the river because you can work up a sweat setting up camp. Friday we floated down the Namekagon on tubes. It was about a three hour tour which was perfect. We of course had snacks and made lots of memories. Thank you to Kristin Reiss for helping today and bringing some added treats. To Alicia Hailey and Suzanne Patterson for helping make sure we had the supplies we need and giving us rides to the drop off location or visiting and playing ultimate frisbee.

This was an amazing week full of fun and learning. Thank you to all who helped teach, joined us for our meal, and especially to the kids that made this such a fun week for all. ❤️

These kids amaze me with their ability to try new things and teamwork. Today we worked on our skills in the kitchen and made lunch for parents/grandparents. Ms, Maria helped us again today teaching the kids to make easy Mexican cheesecake. The other menu items were orange chicken, fried rice, and cream cheese wontons. The food was delicious and we had so much fun making it while listening to music, singing and dancing. Another great day in the books. 😋💙

What an awesome day spent with these kiddos. Middle school VBS is off to a great start. Our first stop was Narrows Park in Rice Lake where we absorbed our daily dose of vitamin D while we enjoyed the water and the sand beneath our feet. Next stop was subway where some tried something new and others chose their favorite sandwiches. Then we were off to Tactical Escape 101 to learn team work and communication. We were definitely tuckered out as we waited for pick up. ❤️ Thank you, Maria Draper for joining us in the fun and taking some amazing pictures. 😍

First day of the middle school VBS was a blast. We learned about carpentry and built a picnic table for the church. A Huge thank you to Kyle Reppe for your help completing this project and showing the kids how to put it together. We could not have done it without you. 🤩

Tomorrow we are going to work on teamwork. First we will be headed to Rice Lake and enjoy what the Lord has created by hanging at the beach and lake and then off to the escape rooms. 🤞we make it out within the timeframe…
