THE BIRTH OF SAMSON:
Judges 13:1-25 KJVAAE
[1] And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the Lord; and the Lord delivered them into the hand of the Philistines forty years. [2] And there was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Mano´ah; and his wife was barren, and bare not. [3] And the angel of the Lord appeared unto the woman, and said unto her, Behold now, thou art barren, and bearest not: but thou shalt conceive, and bear a son. [4] Now therefore beware, I pray thee, and drink not w**e nor strong drink, and eat not any unclean thing: [5] for, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines. [6] Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, A man of God came unto me, and his countenance was like the countenance of an angel of God, very terrible: but I asked him not whence he was, neither told he me his name: [7] but he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no w**e nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death. [8] Then Mano´ah entreated the Lord, and said, O my Lord, let the man of God which thou didst send come again unto us, and teach us what we shall do unto the child that shall be born. [9] And God hearkened to the voice of Mano´ah; and the angel of God came again unto the woman as she sat in the field: but Mano´ah her husband was not with her. [10] And the woman made haste, and ran, and showed her husband, and said unto him, Behold, the man hath appeared unto me, that came unto me the other day. [11] And Mano´ah arose, and went after his wife, and came to the man, and said unto him, Art thou the man that spakest unto the woman? And he said, I am. [12] And Mano´ah said, Now let thy words come to pass. How shall we order the child, and how shall we do unto him? [13] And the angel of the Lord said unto Mano´ah, Of all that I said unto the woman let her beware. [14] She may not eat of any thing that cometh of the vine, neither let her drink w**e or strong drink, nor eat any unclean thing: all that I commanded her let her observe. [15] And Mano´ah said unto the angel of the Lord, I pray thee, let us detain thee, until we shall have made ready a kid for thee. [16] And the angel of the Lord said unto Mano´ah, Though thou detain me, I will not eat of thy bread: and if thou wilt offer a burnt offering, thou must offer it unto the Lord. For Mano´ah knew not that he was an angel of the Lord. [17] And Mano´ah said unto the angel of the Lord, What is thy name, that when thy sayings come to pass we may do thee honor? [18] And the angel of the Lord said unto him, Why askest thou thus after my name, seeing it is secret? [19] So Mano´ah took a kid with a meat offering, and offered it upon a rock unto the Lord: and the angel did wondrously; and Mano´ah and his wife looked on. [20] For it came to pass, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the Lord ascended in the flame of the altar: and Mano´ah and his wife looked on it, and fell on their faces to the ground. [21] But the angel of the Lord did no more appear to Mano´ah and to his wife. Then Mano´ah knew that he was an angel of the Lord. [22] And Mano´ah said unto his wife, We shall surely die, because we have seen God. [23] But his wife said unto him, If the Lord were pleased to kill us, he would not have received a burnt offering and a meat offering at our hands, neither would he have showed us all these things, nor would as at this time have told us such things as these. [24] And the woman bare a son, and called his name Samson: and the child grew, and the Lord blessed him. [25] And the Spirit of the Lord began to move him at times in the camp of Dan between Zorah and Eshta´ol.

Acts 23:1-35 KJVAAE
[1] And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day. [2] And the high priest Anani´as commanded them that stood by him to smite him on the mouth. [3] Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law? [4] And they that stood by said, Revilest thou God's high priest? [5] Then said Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is written, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people. [6] But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question. [7] And when he had so said, there arose a dissension between the Pharisees and the Sadducees: and the multitude was divided. [8] For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, neither angel, nor spirit: but the Pharisees confess both. [9] And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees' part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight against God. [10] And when there arose a great dissension, the chief captain, fearing lest Paul should have been pulled in pieces of them, commanded the soldiers to go down, and to take him by force from among them, and to bring him into the castle. [11] And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome. [12] And when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together, and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul. [13] And they were more than forty which had made this conspiracy. [14] And they came to the chief priests and elders, and said, We have bound ourselves under a great curse, that we will eat nothing until we have slain Paul. [15] Now therefore ye with the council signify to the chief captain that he bring him down unto you tomorrow, as though ye would inquire something more perfectly concerning him: and we, or ever he come near, are ready to kill him. [16] And when Paul's sister's son heard of their lying in wait, he went and entered into the castle, and told Paul. [17] Then Paul called one of the centurions unto him, and said, Bring this young man unto the chief captain: for he hath a certain thing to tell him. [18] So he took him, and brought him to the chief captain, and said, Paul the prisoner called me unto him, and prayed me to bring this young man unto thee, who hath something to say unto thee. [19] Then the chief captain took him by the hand, and went with him aside privately, and asked him, What is that thou hast to tell me? [20] And he said, The Jews have agreed to desire thee that thou wouldest bring down Paul tomorrow into the council, as though they would inquire somewhat of him more perfectly. [21] But do not thou yield unto them: for there lie in wait for him of them more than forty men, which have bound themselves with an oath, that they will neither eat nor drink till they have killed him: and now are they ready, looking for a promise from thee. [22] So the chief captain then let the young man depart, and charged him, See thou tell no man that thou hast showed these things to me. [23] And he called unto him two centurions, saying, Make ready two hundred soldiers to go to Caesare´a, and horsemen threescore and ten, and spearmen two hundred, at the third hour of the night; [24] and provide them beasts, that they may set Paul on, and bring him safe unto Felix the governor. [25] And he wrote a letter after this manner: [26] Claudius Lys´i-as unto the most excellent governor Felix sendeth greeting. [27] This man was taken of the Jews, and should have been killed of them: then came I with an army, and rescued him, having understood that he was a Roman. [28] And when I would have known the cause wherefore they accused him, I brought him forth into their council: [29] whom I perceived to be accused of questions of their law, but to have nothing laid to his charge worthy of death or of bonds. [30] And when it was told me how that the Jews laid wait for the man, I sent straightway to thee, and gave commandment to his accusers also to say before thee what they had against him. Farewell. [31] Then the soldiers, as it was commanded them, took Paul, and brought him by night to Antip´atris. [32] On the morrow they left the horsemen to go with him, and returned to the castle: [33] who, when they came to Caesare´a, and delivered the epistle to the governor, presented Paul also before him. [34] And when the governor had read the letter, he asked of what province he was. And when he understood that he was of Cili´cia; [35] I will hear thee, said he, when thine accusers are also come. And he commanded him to be kept in Herod's judgment hall.

[1] And the men of E´phra-im gathered themselves together, and went northward, and said unto Jephthah, Wherefore passedst thou over to fight against the children of Ammon, and didst not call us to go with thee? we will burn thine house upon thee with fire. [2] And Jephthah said unto them, I and my people were at great strife with the children of Ammon; and when I called you, ye delivered me not out of their hands. [3] And when I saw that ye delivered me not, I put my life in my hands, and passed over against the children of Ammon, and the Lord delivered them into my hand: wherefore then are ye come up unto me this day, to fight against me? [4] Then Jephthah gathered together all the men of Gil´e-ad, and fought with E´phra-im: and the men of Gil´e-ad smote E´phra-im, because they said, Ye Gil´e-adites are fugitives of E´phra-im among the E´phra-imites, and among the Manas´sites. [5] And the Gil´e-adites took the passages of Jordan before the E´phra-imites: and it was so, that when those E´phra-imites which were escaped said, Let me go over, that the men of Gil´e-ad said unto him, Art thou an E´phra-imite? If he said, Nay; [6] then said they unto him, Say now Shib´boleth: and he said Sib´boleth: for he could not frame to pronounce it right. Then they took him, and slew him at the passages of Jordan: and there fell at that time of the E´phra-imites forty and two thousand. [7] And Jephthah judged Israel six years. Then died Jephthah the Gil´e-adite, and was buried in one of the cities of Gil´e-ad.
IBZAN, ELON AND ABDON JUDGE ISRAEL:
[8] And after him Ibzan of Bethlehem judged Israel. [9] And he had thirty sons, and thirty daughters, whom he sent abroad, and took in thirty daughters from abroad for his sons. And he judged Israel seven years. [10] Then died Ibzan, and was buried at Bethlehem. [11] And after him Elon, a Zeb´ulonite, judged Israel; and he judged Israel ten years. [12] And Elon the Zeb´ulonite died, and was buried in Ai´jalon in the country of Zeb´ulun. [13] And after him Abdon the son of Hillel, a Pira´thonite, judged Israel. [14] And he had forty sons and thirty nephews, that rode on threescore and ten ass colts: and he judged Israel eight years. [15] And Abdon the son of Hillel the Pira´thonite died, and was buried in Pira´thon in the land of E´phra-im, in the mount of the Amal´ekites.

[1] Men, brethren, and fathers, hear ye my defense which I make now unto you. [2] (And when they heard that he spake in the Hebrew tongue to them, they kept the more silence: and he saith,) [3] I am verily a man which am a Jew, born in Tarsus, a city in Cili´cia, yet brought up in this city at the feet of Gama´li-el, and taught according to the perfect manner of the law of the fathers, and was zealous toward God, as ye all are this day. [4] And I persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women. [5] As also the high priest doth bear me witness, and all the estate of the elders: from whom also I received letters unto the brethren, and went to Damascus, to bring them which were there bound unto Jerusalem, for to be punished. [6] And it came to pass, that, as I made my journey, and was come nigh unto Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a great light round about me. [7] And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? [8] And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest. [9] And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me. [10] And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do. [11] And when I could not see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of them that were with me, I came into Damascus. [12] And one Anani´as, a devout man according to the law, having a good report of all the Jews which dwelt there, [13] came unto me, and stood, and said unto me, Brother Saul, receive thy sight. And the same hour I looked up upon him. [14] And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth. [15] For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard. [16] And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord. [17] And it came to pass, that, when I was come again to Jerusalem, even while I prayed in the temple, I was in a trance; [18] and saw him saying unto me, Make haste, and get thee quickly out of Jerusalem: for they will not receive thy testimony concerning me. [19] And I said, Lord, they know that I imprisoned and beat in every synagogue them that believed on thee: [20] and when the blood of thy martyr Stephen was shed, I also was standing by, and consenting unto his death, and kept the raiment of them that slew him. [21] And he said unto me, Depart: for I will send thee far hence unto the Gentiles. [22] And they gave him audience unto this word, and then lifted up their voices, and said, Away with such a fellow from the earth: for it is not fit that he should live. [23] And as they cried out, and cast off their clothes, and threw dust into the air, [24] the chief captain commanded him to be brought into the castle, and bade that he should be examined by scourging; that he might know wherefore they cried so against him. [25] And as they bound him with thongs, Paul said unto the centurion that stood by, Is it lawful for you to scourge a man that is a Roman, and uncondemned? [26] When the centurion heard that, he went and told the chief captain, saying, Take heed what thou doest; for this man is a Roman. [27] Then the chief captain came, and said unto him, Tell me, art thou a Roman? He said, Yea. [28] And the chief captain answered, With a great sum obtained I this freedom. And Paul said, But I was free-born. [29] Then straightway they departed from him which should have examined him: and the chief captain also was afraid, after he knew that he was a Roman, and because he had bound him. [30] On the morrow, because he would have known the certainty wherefore he was accused of the Jews, he loosed him from his bands, and commanded the chief priests and all their council to appear, and brought Paul down, and set him before them.

Be Blessed through this night. Read your Bible. End your day in prayer and give it all to God.

Judges 11:1-40 KJVAAE
[1] Now Jephthah the Gil´e-adite was a mighty man of valor, and he was the son of a harlot: and Gil´e-ad begat Jephthah. [2] And Gil´e-ad's wife bare him sons; and his wife's sons grew up, and they thrust out Jephthah, and said unto him, Thou shalt not inherit in our father's house; for thou art the son of a strange woman. [3] Then Jephthah fled from his brethren, and dwelt in the land of Tob: and there were gathered vain men to Jephthah, and went out with him. [4] And it came to pass in process of time, that the children of Ammon made war against Israel. [5] And it was so, that when the children of Ammon made war against Israel, the elders of Gil´e-ad went to fetch Jephthah out of the land of Tob: [6] and they said unto Jephthah, Come, and be our captain, that we may fight with the children of Ammon. [7] And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gil´e-ad, Did not ye hate me, and expel me out of my father's house? and why are ye come unto me now when ye are in distress? [8] And the elders of Gil´e-ad said unto Jephthah, Therefore we turn again to thee now, that thou mayest go with us, and fight against the children of Ammon, and be our head over all the inhabitants of Gil´e-ad. [9] And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gil´e-ad, If ye bring me home again to fight against the children of Ammon, and the Lord deliver them before me, shall I be your head? [10] And the elders of Gil´e-ad said unto Jephthah, The Lord be witness between us, if we do not so according to thy words. [11] Then Jephthah went with the elders of Gil´e-ad, and the people made him head and captain over them: and Jephthah uttered all his words before the Lord in Mizpeh. [12] And Jephthah sent messengers unto the king of the children of Ammon, saying, What hast thou to do with me, that thou art come against me to fight in my land? [13] And the king of the children of Ammon answered unto the messengers of Jephthah, Because Israel took away my land, when they came up out of Egypt, from Arnon even unto Jabbok, and unto Jordan: now therefore restore those lands again peaceably. [14] And Jephthah sent messengers again unto the king of the children of Ammon: [15] and said unto him, Thus saith Jephthah, Israel took not away the land of Moab, nor the land of the children of Ammon: [16] but when Israel came up from Egypt, and walked through the wilderness unto the Red sea, and came to Kadesh; [17] then Israel sent messengers unto the king of Edom, saying, Let me, I pray thee, pass through thy land: but the king of Edom would not hearken thereto. And in like manner they sent unto the king of Moab; but he would not consent: and Israel abode in Kadesh. [18] Then they went along through the wilderness, and compassed the land of Edom, and the land of Moab, and came by the east side of the land of Moab, and pitched on the other side of Arnon, but came not within the border of Moab: for Arnon was the border of Moab. [19] And Israel sent messengers unto Sihon king of the Amorites, the king of Heshbon; and Israel said unto him, Let us pass, we pray thee, through thy land into my place. [20] But Sihon trusted not Israel to pass through his coast: but Sihon gathered all his people together, and pitched in Jahaz, and fought against Israel. [21] And the Lord God of Israel delivered Sihon and all his people into the hand of Israel, and they smote them: so Israel possessed all the land of the Amorites, the inhabitants of that country. [22] And they possessed all the coasts of the Amorites, from Arnon even unto Jabbok, and from the wilderness even unto Jordan. [23] So now the Lord God of Israel hath dispossessed the Amorites from before his people Israel, and shouldest thou possess it? [24] Wilt not thou possess that which Chemosh thy god giveth thee to possess? So whomsoever the Lord our God shall drive out from before us, them will we possess. [25] And now art thou any thing better than Balak the son of Zippor, king of Moab? did he ever strive against Israel, or did he ever fight against them, [26] while Israel dwelt in Heshbon and her towns, and in Aro´er and her towns, and in all the cities that be along by the coasts of Arnon, three hundred years? why therefore did ye not recover them within that time? [27] Wherefore I have not sinned against thee, but thou doest me wrong to war against me: the Lord the Judge be judge this day between the children of Israel and the children of Ammon. [28] Howbeit the king of the children of Ammon hearkened not unto the words of Jephthah which he sent him. [29] Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jephthah, and he passed over Gil´e-ad, and Manas´seh, and passed over Mizpeh of Gil´e-ad, and from Mizpeh of Gil´e-ad he passed over unto the children of Ammon. [30] And Jephthah vowed a vow unto the Lord, and said, If thou shalt without fail deliver the children of Ammon into mine hands, [31] then it shall be, that whatsoever cometh forth of the doors of my house to meet me, when I return in peace from the children of Ammon, shall surely be the Lord's, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering. [32] So Jephthah passed over unto the children of Ammon to fight against them; and the Lord delivered them into his hands. [33] And he smote them from Aro´er, even till thou come to Minnith, even twenty cities, and unto the plain of the vineyards, with a very great slaughter. Thus the children of Ammon were subdued before the children of Israel. [34] And Jephthah came to Mizpeh unto his house, and, behold, his daughter came out to meet him with timbrels and with dances: and she was his only child; beside her he had neither son nor daughter. [35] And it came to pass, when he saw her, that he rent his clothes, and said, Alas, my daughter! thou hast brought me very low, and thou art one of them that trouble me: for I have opened my mouth unto the Lord, and I cannot go back. [36] And she said unto him, My father, if thou hast opened thy mouth unto the Lord, do to me according to that which hath proceeded out of thy mouth; forasmuch as the Lord hath taken vengeance for thee of thine enemies, even of the children of Ammon. [37] And she said unto her father, Let this thing be done for me: let me alone two months, that I may go up and down upon the mountains, and bewail my virginity, I and my fellows. [38] And he said, Go. And he sent her away for two months: and she went with her companions, and bewailed her virginity upon the mountains. [39] And it came to pass at the end of two months, that she returned unto her father, who did with her according to his vow which he had vowed: and she knew no man. And it was a custom in Israel, [40] that the daughters of Israel went yearly to lament the daughter of Jephthah the Gil´e-adite four days in a year.

Open my ears, my heart, my body, my soul, unto Your WORD and of Your Love, to live to do Your Will, and may the LORD add a Blessing to the Reading, Hearing, Understanding and Doing of Your WORD, in the Name of JESUS CHRIST I pray and ask. As I give You all the praise, and the glory, and the honor, for everything that is and about and of my life. Save my soul unto life eternal with You, Heavenly Father in the name of JESUS CHRIST. And lead me not into temptation, but deliver me from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. In the name of JESUS CHRIST, I pray and ask, thank you Heavenly Father, AMEN
I LOVE YOU LORD JESUS
