💛 Volunteer Appreciation Spotlight 💛
We want to highlight one more of our fantastic volunteer groups this Volunteer Appreciation Week! 🤩
Here’s a big thank you to Fr. Tom and the Ss. Cyril & Methodius Orthodox Church Hospitality Group! Here’s what Fr. Tom, the group’s Volunteer Hospitality Coordinator, had to say about the group’s rich history supporting Cathedral Center:
“SS Cyril and Methodius Orthodox Church has been volunteering – preparing and serving meals – at the Women's Shelter for 25 years. Over these many years, we have had Christmas parties with gifts, and one time even had a karaoke party. It was great, with everybody dancing and singing. We have tried to bring and serve good, solid, nutritious food that people like when they come in after a hard day.” 💕
