Greetings All!
Just a simple reminder that the Church's Fish Fry fundraiser is this week Saturday. If you haven't already, be sure to get your tickets today! Also remember that the Men's group will be selling brats at the same time.

Well, it's Mid-Week Wednesday and time to share a word: "Watch Out!"
Proverbs 4:23 (NLT) reads:
Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. (meditate and pray)
To guard your heart means to keep watch over your inner being.....to be careful of what you're allowing to come inside. Consider the things that you're seeing and hearing through your phone, your tv, the company that you keep. That's who and what is influencing your life. You can't expect to have peace in your heart and direction in your life when you're surrounding yourself with negativity and drama!
Solomon, (the writer of the Proverbs), reminds us to guard our hearts. Watch out and protect your inner peace. Remember, what goes in eventually comes out!
We pray that the LORD will continue to bless and keep you as you seek to serve Him! Continue to make it a peaceful week. Pastors Dwight and Charlene πŸ’—πŸ™πŸΎπŸŒˆ

Greetings all on this beautiful final Sunday in May!
Pastor continued the Pentecost message, and what a message it was:
"Stirred Up and Released!"
Acts 2:1-4 (read, meditate, and pray)

Pastor broke down the scripture and reminded the church that many of us have let the fire, (Holy Spirit), fizzle out of our lives. Pastor gave us a visual of how the fizz goes out of a can of soda as you pop the cap!
Have you allowed the fire for God to fizzle out and go flat?
The prophet Jeremiah said that God's word is like fire shut up in his bones! (Jeremiah 23:29). Jesus came to reignite the fire inside of you. Save someone's life, stir up the gift and release God's word!
We pray that the LORD will continue to bless and keep you as you seek to serve Him! Make it a peaceful week.

Greetings All!
It's Mid-Week Wednesday and time to share a word.

"Only God!"
Psalm 32:5 (NLT) reads:
Finally, I confessed all my sins to you, and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, "I will confess my rebellion to the LORD." And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.
(meditate and pray)
This Psalm, (if read sincerely), is a psalm of relief. Rather than making excuses, David takes full responsibility for his actions and his sins. The moment David stopped trying to hide his sins (and admitted them to God), he felt the freedom of relief and the joy of forgiveness!
What sins are you trying to hide from God? God sees all AND He knows all. He wants to hear from you!
1 John 1:9 (reads) But if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.
God is faithful to his promises. Sometimes it's difficult but talk to Him and feel the freedom and joy that confession brings. Only God is faithful to bring you the joy of forgiveness.

We pray that the LORD will continue to bless and keep you as you seek to serve Him. Continue to make it a peaceful week!. Pastors Dwight and Charlene πŸ’—πŸ™πŸΎπŸŒˆ

Greetings All on this beautiful Pentecost Sunday! The message today was rendered by Min. Stan Lindsey:
"The Church - God's Divine Design!"
Ephesians 1:21-23 (read, meditate, and pray)
Just as the apostle Paul stated many years ago, Min Stan was straight and to the point, we, (the church) have to do better! Min Stan reminded us, (believers) that Jesus is the head of the church and we should be following His lead.
Is there an area in your life that you need to do better? There's a world out there that is dying ! Do better because you can. The power is within you.
We pray that the LORD will continue to bless and keep you as you seek to serve Him! Make it a peaceful week. Pastors Dwight and Charlene πŸ’—πŸ™πŸΎπŸŒˆ

Greetings All!
The message from Pastor Lovett today was:
"Mind Your Own Business!"
John 21:21-23 (read, meditate, and pray)

Pastor delivered a very thought provoking message as he broke down Jesus' conversation with Peter prior to His resurrection. I'm sure it hits home for many of us as we travel this road called life.
Don't you have enough troubles of your own to worry about? Follow Jesus and stop worrying about what someone else is doing. Mind your own business!
We pray that the LORD will continue to bless and keep you as you seek to serve Him! Make it a peaceful week.

Greetings All! It's Mid-Week Wednesday and time to share a word.
"Now Faith!"
Hebrews 11:1 reads:
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. (meditate and pray)
As we go through life we realize one thing for sure......troubles will come. It's been said that either we're in the middle of a storm, about to go through a storm, or coming out of a storm. Life happens.
Hebrews 11: 1 tells us that"NOW" faith is what we hope for in ALL circumstances. Our hope is confidence in knowing that we can trust God's promises in whatever situation we find ourselves in. Whatever state that you find yourself in right now trust your "NOW" faith and know that God can do more than we ask or think!

We pray that the LORD will continue to bless and keep you as you seek to serve Him! Continue to make it a peaceful week. Pastors Dwight and Charlene πŸ’— πŸ™πŸΎ 🌈

Greetings All and a Happy Mother's Day to all the Mothers πŸ’•. Thank you to all who contributed to the treats after Service!!!
The message today was delivered by Pastor Charlene:
"A Mother's Love!"
1 Corinthians 13: 4-7 (read, meditate & pray)
The message came from the Apostle Paul as he explains to the church how the "body of Christ" shall carry themselves in the midst of struggle. Pastor Charlene broke down the essence of what love is using the "Love" chapter..... Love is patient, kind, gentle and yet strong. Love is the character of God! The church, and particularly mothers were encouraged to care for themselves as they care for others......with the love of Christ!
There's nothing like Mother's Love... Don't miss out!
We pray that the LORD will continue to bless and keep you as you seek to serve Him! Make it a peaceful week!

Greetings All!
Please continue to lift the church family in prayer, particularly Elder Earl.
Well, it's Mid-Week Wednesday and time to share a word. It's a brief word.
"He hears you!"
Isaiah 65:24 (NIV) reads:
The LORD says, "Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear." (meditate & pray)

Keep speaking, God hears you!

We pray that the LORD will continue to bless and keep you as you seek to serve Him! Continue to make it a peaceful week.

Greetings All on this beautiful 1st Sunday in May! Please continue to lift Elder Earl Thomas in prayer.
The message from Pastor Lovett today was: "When You Think You're Out Of Options!"
John 21:3-6 & 10 -11
(read, meditate, and pray)
Pastor broke down the scripture as he continues to make plain the resurrection of Jesus Christ. On this occasion Jesus appears to the disciples yet another time after His resurrection.
Peter, along with the disciples were hurt so they went back to their "comfortable place"...... fishing. As Jesus met them this time, they had fished all night and found nothing! He tells them to "cast their nets on the "right" side.
What do you do when things seem to be falling apart and you don't know what to do? Remember, Jesus is right there waiting to help you too. You have options. And options have consequences. Make the right choice and cast your net on the right side!
We pray that the LORD will continue to bless and keep you as you seek to serve Him! Make it a peaceful week.

Greetings All!
It's Mid-Week Wednesday and time to share a word.
"He's my Friend!"
"What a friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear...."
These words are part of the lyrics in a song written by Joseph Scriven. Oftentimes we use the words as part of our prayers.
When you think about Jesus and the goodness of God, what better friend could you have? Would or can an "earthly" friend do for you what Jesus has done for you? No! Can you call on an "earthly" friend any time and any day and know without a doubt that they would go to the end of the earth for you?
The LORD spoke to us, Hebrews 13:5...... "I will never leave nor forsake you." These are the words of a divine relationship that comes from knowing Jesus for yourself! Knowing Him and accepting Him in your life allows you to say......He's my friend!
We pray that the LORD will continue to bless and keep you as you seek to serve Him. Continue to make it a peaceful week. Pastors Dwight and Charlene πŸ’—πŸ™πŸΎπŸŒˆ
