The original church was located on Pine Street in Vineland, New Jersey, and was called Miracle Evangelistic Deliverance Center. The church was started with only Pastor Myrick and her seven year old daughter Kedra. The Lord made provisions for t
he building to be used for a church with everything in full operation. In 1986, the church became affiliated with the Church of God in Christ, and later became incorporated as the Church of God in Christ. Since the initial church was established, Miracle Temple has outgrown three different churches: Pine Street in Vineland, NJ; N. West Blvd in Vineland, NJ; and Iowa Street in Vineland, NJ. In June 2002, Miracle Temple moved to its current sanctuary at 1409 East Main Street in Millville, New Jersey. The current sanctuary seats over 300 congregants, and has an overflow section for use when needed. The church encompasses over 45 auxiliary ministries for the growth and development of its members and community. To name a few: Children’s Church Ministry, Nursery, Youth Ministry, Christian Sisters and Brothers, Singles Ministry, Couples Ministry, Men’s Fellowship, New Members Classes, Evangelism Outreach Ministry, 5 Sunday School Classes, Greeters Ministry, Hospitality, 4 choirs, Youth and Adult Praise Dance Ministries, Hospital Ministry, YWCC, and WCC. The future goals of the church are: a Christian Daycare Center/Preschool Program, Prison Ministry, and a Group Home for troubled young women.
