On Sunday, August 30th, St. Anne's gave a formal "farewell" to Robin & Hugh. They have been 'bedrocks' at St. Anne's for more than 50 years. Both have served on the Vestry or Mission Council and lifted their voices in the choir.

Robin and Hugh will be sorely missed as they move to Atlanta to be closer to family. Go with God our friends.

Gracious and loving God, we give you thanks for the seasons we have shared in worship, service, and fellowship with the Haraways. Bless your servants Robin and Hugh, who now go forth from this congregation. Guide their steps with your wisdom, surround them with your peace, and plant them deeply in the life of the community to which you now call them. May they carry with them the love they have known here at St. Anne’s, and may we remain united in the one Body of Christ, until we meet again in your eternal kingdom. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Take heed...

🚨Attention, Patrons! The Millington Public Library parking lot will be unavailable for parking Wednesday, August 26, and Thursday, August 27. The lot will be sealed and new parking spaces added. Hooray!

📍 Parking is available in the City parking lots off Nelson Road. Ample parking is available on the north side of City Hall. See map below.

During these two days, please enter the library through the front Navy Road entrance only. The main entrance from the parking lot will not be accessible.

The library will remain OPEN for regular hours and Programs. ADULT CRAFT on Thursday at 6 p.m. has moved to the BAKER CENTER.

***For patrons who need assistance, please call the library at (901)872-1585, Ext. 1. Curbside drop off and pick up of library materials is available.***

On Sunday, July 26, 2026, we celebrated the Feast of St. Anne, our patron saint. Area small Episcopal Churches joined us. The choir made "joyful noise.' St. Anne's, Ravenscroft and St. Paul's wore their t-shirts adding spectral splendor. After the service food and fellowship overflowed.

Vicar John Edgar Freeman officiated and preached. Deacon Lavonnie Perry Claybon assisted at the table and read the Gospel. Sue Ellen Cavezza did double duty as acolyte and choir member.

God is good, all the time.
