Please note the change in schedule for April.

-April 5th Easter Sunday - Preaching will be at 9:30 am. There will be a fellowship following with donuts, fruit, coffee and juice. Everyone will gather around the cross to sing the “Old Rugged Cross” followed by an Easter egg hunt for the youth. Remember to bring your flowers for the cross.

-April 12th - Sunday School - 10:30 am

-April 19th - Sunday School - 10:30 am

-April 26th - Preaching - 9:30 am followed by Sunday School

CALL TO WORSHIP

L: Today, we follow Jesus into a wilderness full of isolation, fatigue, hunger, thirst, and temptation.
P: We follow, trusting in God’s mercy.
L: We witness Jesus resist the siren calls of sensationalism, notoriety, and misuse of power for selfish gain.
P: We recognize God’s mercy at work in the face of temptation.
L: We notice the angels who tend Jesus, messengers of care in a harsh and lonely place.
P: We pay attention to God’s merciful presence that did not abandon Jesus and does not abandon us now.
L: We come to the wilderness together, clinging to the truth that we are not alone—God is with us.
P: We gather to worship God, whose unfailing mercy journeys with us into the wildernesses of our lives. Thanks be to God! Amen.

L: Come! Let us follow Jesus to the edge of the Jordan River to be baptized.
P: We come to be cleansed and made whole.
L: Come! Let us witness John’s confusion and Jesus’ insistence that John baptize God Incarnate.
P: We come to join Jesus in choosing life in the kingdom of God.
L: Come! Let us hear God declare the truth of Jesus’ identity and the truth of our identity as baptized people.
P: We come to remember and embody who we are as beloved children of God.
