🎊It was hot, hot day, yesterday, for our annual church member picnic so we moved it indoors. A relaxing day with people milling and visiting about presented a challenge to include everyone in photos. Many thanks to everyone for all your assistance in making this a special day for fellowship, especially to master grillers, Stephen & Stefanie Harmon, for braving the heat outdoors. We enjoyed seeing everyone, missed those unable to attend, and hope to see you soon. Peace be with you.🎊

The Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank is providing free summer meal kits for children ages 18 and younger while school is out. Each weekly kit includes seven breakfasts and seven lunches, helping families ensure children have access to nutritious meals throughout the summer. Families can register to...

The Free Little Library at Milford Presbyterian is now re-stocked with books for children, and is open for your reading pleasure. We will re-stock every couple weeks. Many thanks to our building/grounds team for taking care of eliminating the wasp nest and for re-sealing the unit to keep critters out. Enjoy🙏

✝️🙏Due to the extremely low temperatures and dangerous ice conditions, we will not have a worship service this Sunday, February 1, 2026.
If you are able to get out safely, please check on those who may need help getting groceries, medications, or other supplies. We can show God's love through acts of kindness in this way, especially when we are unable to gather for worship. 🙏✝️

Road conditions across Caroline County are continuing to deteriorate due to icy conditions, and travel is extremely dangerous at this time.
The Caroline County Sheriff’s Office is strongly advising everyone to stay home unless you absolutely must be on the road. Even short trips can quickly become hazardous as ice continues to develop on roadways, bridges, and secondary roads.
If you do not need to be out, please stay home and allow road crews and emergency services to operate as safely as possible.
Deputies will continue to patrol and respond to emergency calls, but your decision to stay off the roads helps keep you, first responders, and others safe.
We will continue to provide updates as conditions change. Please stay safe and check on neighbors who may need assistance.

Be prepared for emergencies: charge your phones, have back-up battery supply, water and food on hand, check in on your neighbors-especially elders, and know who to call if help is needed. Be safe.
