I will LIFT UP MY EYES (FOCUS) to the hills, from whence comes my help.
My help comes from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
Psalm 121:1-2

But when he SAW (FOCUS) the wind boisterous, he was AFRAID (FEELING); and beginning to SINK (ACTION), he cried saying, Lord, save me.
Matthew 14:30

What is our FOCUS? What do we have our EYES on?
If we are looking at ourselves we will become overwhelmed and everything will look impossible.
But if our focus is on Jesus, then all things look possible.
What we FOCUS on impacts our FEELINGS, which impacts our ACTIONS.
Let's put all of our FOCUS on Jesus this week!

One of the Fruits the Spirit grows in our lives is GOODNESS.
Let's pray that this is grown in us.

"The earth is filled with the GOODNESS of God; His GOODNESS and His love are continually following after me.
I will have confidence to see the Lord's GOODNESS in my life.
His GOODNESS leads me to live a life of repentance and to align myself to His Word.
I will not let evil conquer me, but will conquer evil by doing good."

Junior and Youth Camps kick off this week!
Let's unite in prayer for these important events.
-Pray for anointing and wisdom for all speakers and leaders
-Pray for liberty in praise and worship
-Pray for young people to filled and renewed in the Holy Ghost
-Pray for the gifts of the Spirit to operate
-Pray for the Word to be rooted in the next generation and produce a great harvest in this land
-Pray for transformation and life-altering moments for every young person

An amazing attribute about our God is His Omnipresence.
He fills all TIME and SPACE and is able to simultaneously be in all places at once.
He is present in the SMALL things; down to the smallest subatomic particle.
He is present in the BIG things; into the farthest expanses of the universe.
Therefore when we pray, we must remember to involve Him in the SMALL intricate details of our lives.
But also to take time to pray some BIG prayers because He is in both of those places!
He will work at whatever level we allow and invite Him into.

Let's talk about PRAYER WALKS-

A powerful way to get prayer out into the streets and atmosphere.
How can you incorporate a prayer walk into your week?
A few places to target are:
-your neighborhood
-your church neighborhood
-downtown areas
-places overlooking your city

Pray blessing over your neighborhood and community. Proclaim truth, the Word of God, and what you would like God to accomplish in your city.
Let's saturate our land with prayer!

Who can you invite to pray with you?
We must be intentional about PARTNERING with people in prayer and TRAINING people to pray.
We build up the body of Christ and the army of the Lord this way.
We need prayer in SOLITUDE and prayer in MULTITUDE.
Take the initiative and invite someone to pray with you this weekend.

Another model for prayer that is a daily essential is The Armor of God.
Pray through each piece specifically and surrender every part of yourself to God and to His Kingdom.

Mind- intellect, mentalities, imaginations
Eyes, Ears, Mouth- senses and speech
Heart- emotions and feelings
Feet- wisdom, direction, and order for our lives
Hands- build the Kingdom of God, operate the Sword of the Spirit, and hold up the Shield of Faith

And ultimately, that TRUTH would be the pillar of our life.
Truth should be the lens we see through and the filter we think and feel through.

Here is a simple model for prayer.
It is useful for children and for teaching people how to pray.
Bringing plans and tools to prayer can serve as a foundation on which a great prayer life can be built.

ACTS Prayer Model-
A- Adore (Bringing praise and worship to God)
C- Confess (Repentance, Surrender, and Alignment)
T- Thanks (A thankful heart communicates humility)
S- Submit (Bringing requests and needs to God)

When we commit ourselves to His Kingdom and are led by His Spirit, we can be confident that our work is not in vain.
It is INVESTED and REWARDED.

I pray for rewards to be released for all the work, effort, travail, and prayers that have been invested into South Dakota.
